Lies [Dazai x Akutagawa]

A serious discussion was going on in the black lizard. A banner was put up in front of the table with the meeting's agenda today.

Is tachihara a girl?

Usually akutagawa would be very much annoyed by these things. But today he didn't pay much attention to them. In fact he didn't pay any attention to any of the things that was happening around him. Akutagawa was feeling way too out of the place to feel anything at all. He couldn't feel himself. He was feeling very hot and his head felt unstable.

Unable to manage the situation anymore, akutagawa got up from the seat and left the room.

"Nii-san.. Is something wrong..? " Worried about her brother, gin followed akutagawa outside. Something was not right. She knows that.

Akutagawa didn't answer. He felt too light headed to find the right reply to his sister.

"Nii-san..? "

The Next second gin lunged forward to catch her falling brother. Akutagawa's health could no longer keep him up.

"Nii-san! " Gin panicked "you've got a fever! "

"This is bad " Hirotsu commented.

"Did he catch a cold? " Tachihara asked.

"No... " Akutagawa murmured in a weak voice " Ever since I was born, not once did I ever catch a cold. So this can't be it. "

"Wa, how is he so sure it's really not a cold!? " Tachihara whispered to gin.

"My brother is very self-conscious about his weak physique. So he never wants to admit that he can have cold." Gin whispered back.

"Continue to carry on your missions" Akutagawa said as he held on to his head. But the black lizard didn't move an inch.

"Could you fetch something for him to drink? If it goes on like this, his condition might really get serious. " Hirotsu told gin

Gin nodded " Got it. I will look for something at a store nearby. "

Akutagawa had a training session scheduled with dazai in half an hour. But no matter how much he tried, he couldn't help his head drooping down.  He was slowly loosing consciousness as he heard hirotsu's voice.

"Get some sleep boy."

Ahh.. Looks like I am going to give dazai-san yet another disappointment....

"I am sorry dazai San.This won't happen again. I promise" Akutagawa was trembling in front of the dark eyes that loomed over him. Dazai was unwavering to all his pleas. He came closer and closer to akutagawa until he strangled him. Akutagawa was trying hard to get out of the grasp, pleading and begging dazai, but dazai's dark eyes remained unfazed. He was slowly getting the view of death when something suddenly pulled him out.

Akutagawa sat up holding his neck, panting so hard.

It was a dream.

"Who did you see in the dream? "

Akutagawa turned his head towards the source of the voice in a snap. He froze when he saw dazai sitting by his side with his legs and arms crossed.

Akutagawa looked at the clock and panicked. He had missed his training.

"I'm sorry dazai San. I'm sorry. I will make sure this doesn't happen again.

Dazai stared at him silently.

"Yes. What you did was definitely an unforgivable mistake. " Dazai started when few moments passed. "You were foolish enough to ignore reporting to me. What makes you think you can act on your own?"

"No no I didn't mean to-"

"Silence" Akutagawa's flustered apologies were stopped by dazai's voice.

"Have you taken your medicines? " Dazai questioned.

"No" Akutagawa replied.

"Here. Take them" Dazai said as he handed over some medicines to akutagawa.

"Take your medicines and get well. A broken weapon is useless. Next time report to me as soon as something happens. Your missions for today and tomorrow are cancelled. Do you  understand? " Dazai asked akutagawa.

"But I -"

"Do you understand?" Akutagawa was once again silenced by dazai's threatening voice.

"Yes dazai San " Akutagawa replied and dazai left the place.

Ahh...I am seriously a disappointment.
