Lies [Dazai x Akutagawa]

It was a bright sunny day. The Port mafia was observing a rare silence with the black lizard peacefully enjoying their much needed break when a loud bang interrupted all the silence in the building.

The entire black lizard's attention was now on the door which had the red head executive walking through it, looking almost like a walking dead.

"Where is it? ..Where is it? ..."

"What is it chuya San? " Tachihara asked the perplexed executive.

"What happened to my hat?? "

"What??? "

It all started an hour ago when the executive's hat was nowhere to be found after a mission.

" It's gone~ my precious hat~"

" I didn't think losing his hat would degrade his brain "

"Maybe he got drunk" Higuchi and tachihara commented as they watched the wailing executive.

"You can use this probably" Higuchi suggested as she handed over a chef's hat.

"Am I a chef!? A Pattisier!? " Chuya shouted.

"But it makes you look higher.  That looks good isn't senpai" Higuchi asked as she turned to akutagawa.

"Mm.. Its pretty good" Akutagawa said as he looked at the executive with  judging eyes.

"Can I question your fashion! ? " Chuya asked as he couldn't believe his own ears.

"Otherwise you can use this magical headband. It's very cute!! " Higuchi said holding a mouse eared head band.

"As if I would wear this crap!!" Chuya yelled as he threw the head band.

Higuchi cried internally as the headband was a souvenir from her business trip.

Tachihara face palmed himself at the absurdity.

"Here your hat"

"You got it!! You are amazing hirotsu-san" Chuya said as he grabbed the hat from hirotsu in one quick motion and wore it. What he didn't expect was a string attached to it.

"Ermm... What is this...?? "

"I added a string to it so that you won't loose it again. What do you say akutagawa kun? "

" It suits you we'll chuya-san"

Chuya clenched his fist and grabbed akutagawa's collar and dragged him out.

"Since you have no sense of fashion! I will teach you some kid!! "

DAZAI  LEFT

The first thing akutagawa hears after returning back from his 3 day long mission given to him by dazai.

That moment akutagawa started feeling something empty within himself.

The following days were filled with nightmares and panic attacks for akutagawa. And everytime it was the same nightmare starring dazai ad himself. Dazai calling akutagawa useless and pushing him into an endless pool. Almost every night akutagawa would wake from his bed, holding his neck, unable to breathe.

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months ad months turned into years and akutagawa became something he doesn't even know. Had he ever known what he was? Akutagawa has no answer to that.

(2 years passed)

Akutagawa was welcomed by the sight of black lizard discussing something as soon as he came back from his  2 day long mission.

"What will you do of you get a monkey paw hirotsu San? " Higuchi asked.

"Monkey paw? " Tachihara jumped in.

"It's a mythical object that rewards you three wishes" Higuchi explained.

"I don't know. I haven't really thought about such things" Hirotsu said.

"Brother you are back. You must be tired. Would like some tea? " Gin suddenly appeared behind.

"It's alright. I need some rest. " Akutagawa said.

"Please rest well. "

The monkey paw....

Akutagawa was standing on top of the warehouse.

What will I do if I have a monkey paw?

The answer somewhat seemed clear.

My wish is to...

.
.
.
.
...Talk to dazai-san.

Meow

Meow?

Akutagawa turned to see the cats in the adjacent alley going crazy at something.

When akutagawa looked closer in that direction he didn't find anything.

So he just sighs and leaves the place.
