Rachel hoped thst this was all a bad dream, but she rolled over and looked at the empty beds next to her. She boxed up a few of the things that were Westin's, and walked them over to his dorm room. No one answered the door. She cried at the door for a few minutes and went back to her packed up room. She packed up her sheets and looked at the empty room. She began to cry again as she waited for her dad.

Gilbert got up, put on his pajama bottoms and rubbed his face. Elise was downstairs already. The coffee was brewing and it smelled great. She had some bacon and eggs for him. He smiled as best he could. He thought about the day before. He felt terrible about taking a personal day. He tearfully told his supervisor, "My little girl needs me." His supervisor knew how important family was to him. He ate breakfast, warmed the truck up and drove to get his girl. The sun was rising and the cloud cover was leaving. It was beautiful.

She sat in the bed waiting. She saw Westin walking to class. He didn't look as sad as she did. "I hope mommy finds you a good girl," she screamed. "Mama's boy! Stupid pussy!" He pretended not to hear but she had every right to scream that.   The tears began again. Soon she saw the ugly truck pull up. The hipster children liked it. "Hey, dude, cool truck," one said. He came in the room and hugged his girl, she ugly cried into his Carhart coat. She got snot all over it, but he has been thrown up on, peed on, and pooped on. He was a a dad.   "We will get you home," he said. "We all are excited to have you home." She said, "Dad, I am so sorry I wasted your money." He hugged her. They took her stuff down to the truck. Westin walked by and looked at them. Raxhel's face was red from crying and he looked away. Gilbert walked up to him and said, "Your mama really taught you a lot. You broke my girl's heart. I hope Jesus likes that." Westin looked at him. Westin kept his composure until he went to his room and cried.

The ride home was cold. There was no heat in the truck. Rachel fell asleep a few miles away from the school. She looked like he did when she was younger. He let her sleep. They ate lunch at a burger place. Gilbert ate. Rachel tried to. "I am just not hungry dad. I feel kind of sick," she said. She went to the bathroom and threw up. Her heart was breaking and the baby was making her sick. That would be another stressful thing in the house. They left and got home. Her mother was at work. "When you get unpacked, we can go see mom." She nodded. This was going to be her career. It had to be.

It was nice to be back in her room. It was nice to know that her "God is Love" plaque would be okay. They drove to the shop. Endora looked as it did, as she never left. She texted Christine.   "I am home.   Let's just say the Grape family has a curse."  She and some free time some she called her best friend.   She still hadn't blocked Westin and he tried to call.  She was so tempted to call him and he tried.  She wanted to call him.  Christine said, "You block him immediately."  She was right, so she did.   Arnie came in the room and hugged her.  "It'll be okay, Rachel.   It will be okay,".   This made Rachel cry more.   Arnie sort of scared Westin.  Arnie would become Rachel's best buddy.  Maybe she should have never left,

She gathered  her thoughts and went to the store.  Her mom tearfully hugged her.  "I am sorry Wendy hurt you.  That boy loved you," she said.   That made herself cry all the more.  Back in their city, Wendy was pleased.

"Well, I did it.  Mom, I am miserable."
"You will find nice,  Christian girl.   You need that, not some demon spawn.  You will see the light.  Her name is Rebekah.  She is ten times prettier than Rachel.  Looks a bit like her.  Rachel is a skank.  Her parents are dirty people."

He was shocked he called him a pussy.   She was hurt and it was his mother's fault.

Elise had Rachel take inventory and she told her the whole story about how they moved there, how she wanted to be her bestie at church, how she screwed around with her dad, and Rachel said, "I will NOT do that."  She felt sick again.  Her me though,"Shit!  Just what we need!"  Rachel said, "Mom, I would have avoided him had you told me."  She said, "I thought he was a nice boy.  I thought his mom would let him date who he wanted to."  He was so in love with her.

That night, no questions asked, they had a family dinner at the long table.  Rachel sat next to Arnie, who smacked and chewed and she was never so happy to hear that.
