Chapter 27: Retreating Unfulfilled

Kurama sensed something was not right within Naruto's mind. He had his paws full with the Hokage and here subordinates, but the deep feeling emitting from within him seemed to take priority enough, he took a few steps back and diverted his Chakra a little in order to fight and see what was going on within his chambers, his sub-conscious would take place for him, striking and dodging when needed, it was basic Tailed beast intuition. He lunged at Tsunade, her rolling to the side and dashing behind cover as a tail stabbed down at her position. Kurama jumped back as Konan hailed the area in Paper Shuriken, Kurama used the time to divert the Chakra and move into his chambers. Kurama felt Naruto's anger wash over him as he entered, something had happened and Naruto was yet again on edge, Kurama cocked his head and asked

"Naruto, There you are ... What is wrong ?"

"How long ..."

"Huh ? What ?"

"HOW LONG ..."

"You are going to have to run that by me, because I have no idea what the ..."

Naruto's screamed, venomous fury building within "HOW FUCKING LONG DID YOU KNOW MY DAMNED FATHER WAS THE FORTH HOKAGE !"

"I did not think it was important ..."

"HOW LONG GOD DAMMIT !?"

"Since your birth, the night I was sealed away. Why is this important? Of all the times why now !"

"BECAUSE HE JUST CAME HERE A MINUTE AGO AND SAID HI ... do you have any idea how unprepared I was for that ? And its all because you never told me who he was ... You and I became partners, didn't you think it might come useful to tell me then ?"

"I AM A TAILED BEAST, NOT A GOD DAMNED BABYSITTER !"

"You son of a bitch ..."

"If I am to be scolded ... Then why didn't Jiraiya or Kakashi ever tell you ? Kakashi would have known his Sensei's wife was having a child ... He knew the fourth sealed it in you ... I'm sure he knew all along. Everyone has lied to you ...I merely chose not to tell you"

"No more .."

"Hmm ?"

"I'm taking over now, we will continue this conversation at another time ... just shut the fuck up and let me finish this"

He slammed his fist down, sending twelve red iron gates falling from the sealing, each gate sinking into the ground and holding Kurama in place, nine of the gates on his tails, one on his head and body. He lay pinned to the ground like a butterfly specimen with pins, unable to move or break free of his restraints, the lights began to fade as Naruto walked out of the chambers and into reality, gaining control of his body again. His eyes opened upon the battlefield, the Kyuubi's body shrinking and morphing back into the cloaked body of Naruto, his sly grin on display

Nagato was curious about why Naruto had switched back to his human form, had he used to much Chakra ? It seemed odd that Naruto would store away such a great power at a crucial moment such as this, he moved in to support Naruto, the question heavy on his mind

"Naruto, have you run out of chakra to keep the Kyuubi form ?"

Naruto chuckled "Sorry ... was getting bored of sitting around, their end is near anyway ..."
