Growing Closer to Collapse

Epic could feel as AUs began growing closer. A few more months and it would begin to fall. He was surprised no other destroyer appeared and was growing nervous. He had planned that when a new destroyer appeared, he could help reveal the truth of their job and help snap them from any insanity, but one had yet to appear. He had checked using one way portals to the antivoid, but still, there was no new being.

He was growing more and more concerned. He didn't want to return to destroying, but he couldn't allow the multiverse he lived in to fall, for all those he cared for to die. Ink had slowed his creation a lot, but the multiverse was still teetering on the edge of tipping over the limit. Their multiverse grew slowly over time, so Ink would be fine with slow creation once the multiverse grew more stable.

'I need some way to reveal the balance without being too suspicious or revealing myself,' thought Epic. Thinking it over, he started considering the options. Eventually, he found help_tale, the result of several AUs to close together that had happened without him noticing after he had become Epic. He decided to draw attention to the AU, acting as if he had found it and let them discover the balance.

"Hey Inky bruh," said Epic, walking over to where Ink, Sci, and Dream were talking.
"Hi Epic!" Said Ink cheerfully.
"I found this uncool AU bruh," said Epic.
"What AU?" Asked Dream.
"A place called Help_Tale," said Epic.
"I don't remember that AU," said Ink.
"Maybe you forgot," said Sci.
"Maybe, let's take a look at it," said Ink.

Upon the other three seeing the amalgamation characters, they recoiled.
"What happened here? This is some amalgamation of several AUs, it shouldn't be like this!" Cried Ink.
"I-it's so negative..." muttered Dream, looking ill.
"C-could this happen to any AU?" Mumbled Sci nervously.
"We need to find out what happened!" Cried Ink.
"Yeah, and make sure it never happens again." Said Dream.

"What happened here?" Asked Nightmare appearing after sensing his brother's unusual negativity.
"Th-the AU," muttered Dream, still looking ill. Nightmare looked at the AU for a minute before just wide eyed staring.
"That's... that's not right," was all he said.
"Did you do something?" Asked Ink, suspiciously.
"No. I don't have the ability to change AUs to this extent," said Nightmare, still staring at the AU.

"I'm going to try and scan the code with your help Ink," said Sci.
"Okay," agreed Ink.
"If you can't fix this AU, me and my gang will kill off those things. They're far too dangerous and unstable," said Nightmare turning to leave.
