Dream had managed to get a meeting with his brother. He wasn't sure why, but Epic had been particularly insistent and helpful about them making a treaty. He shrugged it off as Epic being Epic, a sans who appeared randomly who no one knew his motives or the extent of his abilities.

Dream fidgeted as he sat with Ink, Blue, and Epic waiting for the others to arrive. Fresh appeared with a grin. Epic had managed to get Fresh to come and act as a neutral party along with Classic. Soon enough, everyone arrived.

From the neutrals:
Fresh
Epic
Classic

From the Stars:
Dream
Ink
Blue

From the gang:
Nightmare
Dust
Horror
Cross
Killer

Everyone sat down, the air seemed to buzz with tension.
"So Nightmare, you know why we're here," said Dream, holding back his nerves.
"I'm pretty sure everyone in the whole multiverse knows," said Nightmare in a flat tone.
"Well, here's the treaty we've written up." Said Dream, pushing over the piece of paper.

Nightmare read over and inspected it for several tense minutes.
"I'm not signing this," he said.
"Why?" Asked Dream.
"Well for one, we can't defend ourselves if we sign this. If we do, we break your precious little treaty. Also, you forget we have a balance to keep." Said Nightmare.
"We can add a clause that'll let you defend yourself and do somethings to cause negativity." Said Dream calmly.
"Dream, we're still going to have to raid AUs." Said Nightmare.
"Can't you use an alternate method?" Protested Dream.
"With the way the balance is, there's no other method that causes enough negativity." Snapped Nightmare.

"It's always about the balance and negativity with you, isn't it?" Snapped Dream.
"Our balance is the whole reason we were created," Nightmare said, tentacles lashing.
"That doesn't mean you can't attempt to understand where I'm trying to come from when I ask for an alternative method." Said Dream.

"Yo bruhs, how about they raid AUs that are still in the resets?" Suggested Epic. The twins just sat and glared at one another.
"How about we end this meeting and continue in a week?" Suggested Classic, feeling uncomfortable sitting between the glaring twins.

Everyone agreed to meet again next week to attempt to again negotiate peace.
