Epic twitched nervously as he watched from his hiding spot. Some Sans had created a machine to attempt to find Error after Ink requested it.

"Alright, let's fire it up!" Called Sci. Another Sans began to type on the keypad, powering up the machine. The machine began to whir and hum. Several beeps and other mechanical sounds filled the air.
"Do you have a signal?" Asked Sci.
"No- wait! There's something!" Said the Sans operating the machine. He began quickly typing and attempting to lock on to the signal.
"We lost it," said the Sans.

"What happened?" Asked Ink as Sci began looking over the machine.
"We caught Error's signal for a couple minutes, but it appears his signal has changed enough that the machine was unable to lock onto it." Said Sci.
"How did his signal change? I thought that a signal was a part of your code." Asked Dream.
"It is a part of the code. It seems Error somehow changed his signal." Said Sci.
"How is that possible?" Asked Ink.
"Well, a few things can change a signal, becoming an outcode, becoming part of an AU, large changes in LV, and sometimes changes in things like morals. This is a rather large change, almost like he's become someone completely different." Said Sci.

"How can we find him know?" Asked Ink.
"I'm not sure, the only way might be for whoever Error's become to step forward or display their power." Said Sci. Everyone was defeated at not being able to find him, worried about what had happened, and relieved because he was alive.

In the vents, Epic untensed with a relieved sigh that they had yet to find him.
'They can't find me, that's good. Now, I just need to get them and Nightmare to make an official treaty," he thought, 'Well, that's probably something easier said than done.'
