Lando awoke to a series of texts from Oscar, which was... unexpected.

Oscar:

When is your flight out?

They were probably some of the most benign texts he had ever received from his teammate, at least those that weren't work related.

Lando:
I fly out this afternoon at around 15:00 with George and Carlos
I remember most of it but the last parts are hazy
What did you see?

Oscar:
To your knowledge where is Carolina in the world right now?

Lando:
My God mate, why do you care so much about her?

Oscar:
Just answer the damn question

Jesus. Someone was in a really nice mood this morning.

Lando:
Rude. She and I haven't spoken much since the video came out but last I know she is with her family in Portugal, 3 days ago maybe?

Oscar:
Well she was here last night.

Lando:
What?

Oscar:
I'm not lying, mate, I saw her at the club yesterday, that's why I was so desperate to get you out of there
Didn't need things spiraling out of control with both of you drunk
Don't want to hear about this cause you know as well as I do that things would have gotten out of hand

That's the entire problem
I'm pretty sure I know who she was with but honestly who knows since the guy is really good at positioning himself under dark lights
But I'm almost 100% sure it is the same guy as the one in the video
I think it's someone on the grid
But then that makes no sense cause the video came out from Spain, as you said, while we were all in the USA or something, we definitely were not in Spain

And Oscar also very interestingly wasn't telling Lando who on the grid it was. Whether that was deliberate or not... knowing Oscar it was very much deliberate.

No, unfortunately. But I did rewatch the video, it was definitely her
And as for the guy I can't be 100% sure because we barely even got a silhouette in the video so I didn't have much to compare it to
And there were so many people there last night
Like the guy could have blended in and I could have just completely fucked this up
That's why I don't want to tell you who I thought I saw
For exactly that reason, I don't want to turn you against anyone unless I'm totally sure
