Liv Morgan's POV

Raquel and I were off and having a bit of a movie date together. We watched all three movies of Fifty Shades and ate bunches of popcorn, pizza, and candy together. It's rare sometimes that we have a day off together but whenever we do, we always have dates like this.

"Geez it's almost midnight but we can chat for a bit before I have to head to bed." Raquel told me and I agreed. "How's everything going on with Dominik?" She asked me.

"Better. He actually opened up a little to me." I admitted.

"And how is he like?" She asked me.

"Still kinda thinks he's an asshole but considering he is in prison, he gets treated badly anyways but we did have a successful session. He will take some time to open up more but I think as long as I treat him more of a regular person than a sick patient, he will trust me more." I explained to Raquel.

"Okay, just try to be careful. He is still a criminal and I don't want him to fool you or try to manipulate you." She reminds me.

"Fool me? Trust me he can't fool me." I laughed.

"Oh, one more thing. Your birthday is coming up soon. What you want to do?" Raquel asked me.

"I'm going to be working with Dominik on my birthday." I admitted to her.

"So you rather spend your birthday with Dominik than me? Your best friend?!" She questioned me.

"We can always hangout after. We can go to dinner or something." I suggested.

"Okay but I'm picking the restaurant. It's gonna be a surprise." She says and I smile.

"Great but now I'm tired." I yawned and picked up the bowls and the empty box of pizza that we ate.

"Me to. Goodnight." She tells me.

"Goodnight." I tell her back.

And as I clean up a bit, I strangely start remembering Dominik's smile and laugh last week in our session. It was so genuine and kinda of warm.

Like a sunshine.

And he looked so cute smiling. He should smile more often.

**********

At the New Jersey State Prison as I await for Dominik like I do every Monday now. I take out a mirror from my bag as check my hair and makeup today. The door opens and I quickly put my mirror back in my bag.

The guards came in and brought Dominik to the chair. I looked at Dominik as I saw no bruise or cuts. In fact his eyes his heeling.

I smiled at him.

"Good Afternoon Dominik." I greeted him.

"No glasses?" He asked.

"I have makeup on so I decided not to wear them."I told him.

"Sounds like you have somewhere to go after this. Where are you heading off too?" He questioned me.

"Well....after our session, my roommate is taking me out to dinner for my birthday." I admitted to him.

Dominik's eyes widened a bit but grin a bit.

"It's your birthday?" He asked and I nodded. "Happy Birthday." He said and I smiled at him.

"Thank you." I said. "So, how's your sleeping been? Any nightmares recently?" I asked him curiously.

"I actually have received any for a few nights. I've been sleeping better." He admits and I smiled.

"It seems my exercise worked." I praised myself and I guess Dominik can agree. "But I want to get into my serious topics. You mentioned you were mentally abused. Do you mind telling me who called it?" I asked him carefully.

"Since I been locked up, I realized a few things. I realized who are the ones who are really there for me and who aren't. I don't I just felt.....a betrayed." Dominik explains as he admits to me.

I wrote all this down and watched Dominik's facial expressions. I can see the hurt in his eyes.

"I'm sensing this has something to do with someone you cared about." I said to him.

"It's whatever now." Dominik shrugs.

"I know your sister told me that your dad doesn't visit you since you been in here." I mentioned.

"I don't really care about him. He's a dead beat anyways. Eventually after I left him, I found a home within the judgement day. We were together for so many years." He explained to me.

"How are they like?" I asked carefully.

"We were always together. We went to every party, club, sometimes we go to illegal races. We were really like a big whole family. They really showed me the way to have fun. There was never a dull moment. Especially with Rhea." Dominik explained. A small smirk hit his face as he mentions Rhea name. "I could say me and her started off as friends but our friendship became more than that." He expressed a bit.

"So like a relationship. Like a girlfriend and boyfriend."

"We were more than that. She's actually my wife." Dominik admitted.

I suddenly dropped my pen on the ground, surprised to even hear him say that.

"You're married? How come you never told me this?" I questioned him.

"We got married in Vegas when we were on a trip. It was a experiment and we went to a local wedding church and we were pretty drunk so we got married. It felt like it was right to marry her just because we were together for such a long time. It was just gonna be me and the judgement day." He told me and I pick up my pen and proceeded to write all of this down.

"So you got married and you guys dated so how often she visits you?" I asked him.

"To be honest, I haven't seen them since the day my mother died. She wasn't there when I got arrested, she didn't bail me out even when my dad couldn't. She missed my court date and she never visited me since I been in prison for a whole year. Not a single mail or a phone call. Just nothing. My sister has been the only one. My sister puts money on my books too so I can at least eat good snacks." Dominik admits to me and I honestly just feel so bad for him.

I can see in his face the frustration and questioning of why. It's honestly sad.

"Thank you Dominik. I'll see you next week." I ended the session as I feel like he's opened up enough today.
