Liv Morgan's POV
Brown eyes.
Tan Skin.
Brunette Hair.
Long finger nails.
It definitely needs to be cut though. I don't like men with long fingers nails. He wore a creamy cardigan with a white turtle neck shirt with black pants to this coffee date and he topped a sliver cross chain with a sliver Rolex on his wrist to show off that he can afford something expensive when the rest of his outfit probably cost less than his watch and chain.
His cologne was so strong that that I can pass out any minute from the smell of how much he applied on himself but besides the casual wear, he was handsome but I didn't like his smile.
His smile didn't make my heart flutter and overall, we had nothing in common. He was kind of boring and there wasn't any spark between us. Not even an ounce of sexual attraction either.
There was simply nothing and I felt nothing.
"I know we been only just met but I kinda ready for our next date. I was thinking maybe.....a movie?" He said to me.
Oh boy, this is not good.
After staring at his desperate eyes, I sighed and bit my upper lip.
"Look, you're a really nice guy and all but I honestly don't think we can work out. This date was... tedious. At least you're hot but you put on way too much cologne. Sorry..." I said as I shrugged my shoulders and picked up my coat as I was about to leave.
I left a twenty dollar tip on the table as I put on my coat before I head outside in the cold winter.
I hopped into my car and was heading home with my roommate Raquel, who is probably done working out from the gym because she normally gets back at 5pm before dinner at 6. I heard my car ringing as it was my mother calling me from the bluetooth.
"Hey Ma!" I answered.
"So, how was he? I found him to be quite substantial of your taste." My mom said and I heard the excitement in her voice.
"He was hot but he was not the one. He puts on ways too much men cologne and it was the cheap kind too and it smelled awful and we also didn't anything in common. For the first twenty minutes, we sat in silence drinking coffee. I already told him there won't be a second date." I admitted to my mom.
"Really? I was for sure he was the one for you. I will have to find a better guy for you. Tell me your next week work schedule so I can set you another date." My mom tells me.
"Honestly Ma, these blind dates isn't working. You sent me on fifteen other dates and none were great. Also these guys you find all have the a similar patterned and I'm loosing interest." I admitted to her.
"Honey, you just have to keep searching. There's a guy out there for you and I just want you to be happy. You haven't been in a relationship since...well you know."
"I appreciate you trying to find me a date but honestly I'm not looking for love right now. I just want to focus on my work. You can't force love, it will just come on it own."
"So no dates?" She asked.
"No dates. Now I have to focus on driving. I'll talk to you later. Love you!" I said to her.
"Love you! Drive safe." My mom says and hangs up.
***********I arrived home and saw Raquel with her glasses on the computer typing away. I smiled as I went over and wrapped my arm around her neck, leaning my chin on her one of her shoulders
"Ready for dinner? because I am starving." I asked my roommate.
"Yeah just a second, I'm just looking over something." Raquel said.
I saw that she was focusing on what she was doing and I'm a little concerned what so serious.
"What are you looking at?" I asked her curiously.
"Just an other case a lawyer did about a year ago. The case is closed but the story was so sad that I had to read about it." She admitted to me.
"Oh." Is all I said.
"Hey, do you remember the guy from our school?" She asked me.
"Which guy?"
"Dominik Mysterio." She answered.
"The guy that was friends with my ex Austin? I know of him but we never talked." I admitted
"Well did you know he was in a gang with the those awful mean bullies in our school? The group ended up doing so much shit and illegal stuff after high school." Raquel admitted to me.
"Oh wow. That's crazy."
"Yeah, I have their files here of all their past crimes. Robbery, Burglary, Assault, and Fraud."
"Are you serious? Are they in jail?" I asked her.
"No and unfortunately the judges deemed them not guilty due to lack of evidence. So all there cases were closed too but unfortunately for Dominik, he's the only one that got locked up." Raquel tells me.
"What did he do?"
"He was accused of murdering his mother Angie but yet no evidence that he did only that he was caught with a gun and his mother was dead in the house once the cops came. The timing of her death was too accurate so the judge deemed him guilty. His father didn't bother to help bail him out or even believed him." Raquel explained to me and I was shocked.
My covered my mouth just hearing this tragic news. Raquel showed me all the judgement day members mug shot and they all look so mean and dangerous now. I never thought the mean bullies from our school became such ruthless criminals.
"Here, I can't stand to look at them any longer." I admitted, giving back the mugshots to Raquel.
"Crazy right? And this Damian Priest guy is kinda hot." Raquel admitted.
"RAQUEL!" I shouted at her.
"Well he is but too bad he is a criminal and that Finn guy is pretty hot too." She continues
I shake my head at her silliness.
"And if I'm really honest here, Dominik too. The bad guy look suites him." Raquel continues even more.
"You just said he's a murderer." I reminded her.
"Yeah but.....He's attractive still but his case is weird. Like I said he was there but no real evidence that he shot his mom, just that he was in the house when she died and he had a gun."
"I mean maybe but he's still a bad guy. He's in a gang with those criminals." I said.
"True but anyways, wanna order Mexican food?" She asked me and I nodded.
"I want a rice bowl please." I said and Raquel takes out her phone and orders us some Chipotle.
