Kaylie's pov
— Summer of 2013 —I went to the bathroom and I found a pregnancy test in the trash can. I immediately panicked because I knew it was either my mom or my aunts, so I went to go tell my mom. My mother went to go talk to my aunt because she knew it was not hers, but after that I got a reaction I didn't expect.
Cecelia's pov
— Summer of 2013 —Beth: Why didn't you tell us sooner?
Cecelia: I was going too! Lydia and Frank already knew
I sobbed and wiped the tears and snot off my face, knowing that I lost my child that's heart was barely even beating. I could not recover from this. Under any circumstances. I'm a midwife how could a midwife recover from losing her baby?
Lydia: Are you going to tell the girls? I mean Kaylie already knows
Cecelia: No, they're too young and Kaylie, you have to keep this a secret
Kaylie: I will
Cecelia: Promise?
Kaylie: Promise.
