Marjorie pov
It was a average day in the office I was in my desk doing paperwork and answering email taking breaks since I wasn't feeling well. I sat back and started thinking about how a couple of weeks ago I finally got with Reece which it's been phenomenal truly in every aspect his been so attentive to me and has spoiled me with his cooking. He's perfect. That why I'm practicing hiding in my office if he knew I was sick he will drop everything to come and be with me but I don't want to miss work and he shouldn't skip work to take care of me.
Autumn was looking at me from across the office indifferent as always. "You know it won't kill you to take a day off your sick and still you come to work" she said look at me.
"You know I don't like doing that I'm more stressed if I'm not here" I say looking at her and then throw my head back " Plus I don't want to be home alone at least here your there"
"Why don't you call my brother I bet if he knew you were sick he would come running" she said rolling her eyes
" That precisely why I'm avoiding the phone so he doesn't hear me with this raspy voice" I say returning to work but before I could I got this urge to throw up so I got up from my chair and ran for the bathroom almost not getting there on time before I just started to throw up after a while I heard someone behind me who was holding my hair back while I continued until I finally finished and sat down taking some air in when I looked back I saw it was Autumn looking at me with disgust and a little bit of worry
"Yeah your going home I don't care what you say your too sick to be here and it not up for debate" she said looking at me when I was about to answer her I heard someone running in the bathroom looking in all the stalls till finally came in the stall I was in seeing who it was. It was Reece.
"Gorgeous why didn't you tell me you were sick? And more importantly why didn't you stay home?" He said getting down beside me
"Reece your not supposed to be her or know about this" I say covering my face
"Marjorie I got worried when you warrant answer or when you were you'd answered very dry which it's not like you so when I called and Autumn told me I dropped everything and came running gorgeous" he said putting a hair strand behind my ear and raising my head and kissing my forehead
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you" I say to him looking at him and then getting up from the floor
"Come on let's get you home" he said getting up and grabbing my hand and starting to walk to the office and on my way there I tripped but he luckily caught me before I hit the floor " Thank you" it the only thing that came out my mouth
"You don't have to thank me gorgeous let just get you to my car and I'll come and get your things in a minute" he said carrying me to the car with me putting my forehead on his chest and then him sitting me down in his car and putting my seatbelt one and then him running to get my things from my office
Reece pov
After Marjorie was in the car I grab her stuff and thanked Autumn for telling me and put in the books that Marjorie is not going to be in a while and then get to the car seeing a sleeping Marjorie. I get driving and decided to stop for some medicine for her so I got down in the farmacy and went and got her some medicine and some snacks for later then heading to the car and getting to Marjorie's thankfully I have a key so I open and get Marjorie to her room putting her down and taking her shoes off and covering her up and then cooking something to eat and heading upstairs with the medicine and water so when she wakes up to give it to her.
After a while of me caressing her she started to get up whining which made me feel bad because she was sick and still didn't tell me so I would worry. I kiss her forehead " here darling some medicine so you feel better"
She turns around and starts whining even more " I don't want to Reece" she said looking at me with puppy eyes
"Come on gorgeous it's so you get better as fast as possible" she finally got up and still whining took it and layed back down this time on my chest " Thank you Reece" buts her face in my neck kissing my neck
"Your welcome darling I also cooked you something to eat so when you get hungry you tell me and I'll serve you some" I say caressing her hair till I finally feel her fall asleep kissing her head and after a while falling asleep with her.
