*Markie's POV*
"Siya ba yung ex mo?" Turo ni Astoria kay Andy na nasa harapan namin habang papalabas ng simbahan.
Astoria and I grew closer after that one coffee not-a-date we shared, we became closer to each other—we are not just secretary and boss, instead, we consider each other as friends now. She taught me a lot of things that changed my perspective on things.
"Be quiet, she might hear" I slapped her shoulder.
"okay fine" she rolled her eyes.
When we reached my car, I instantly drove to the coffee shop near my office. This coffee shop had always been out hang out spot.
"Hey Ben!" I greeted the barista. Dahil lagi kaming tumatambay ni Astoria dito, kilala na kami ng barista dito.
"Let me guess... the usual?" He replied.
"you know us too well" Astoria smiled.
"Yeah! Anything for my favorite couple" He winked at us and proceeded to input our orders.
Yes, sanay na'ko kapag tinutukso kami ni Ben, parang inside joke na naming tatlo yun—at first nagagalit pa kami ni Astoria kapag tinutukso kami ni Ben, pero as time goes by, Astoria and I decided to ride along.
"Wrong! Taken na kaya toh" sagot ni Astoria.
"You may take your seat na nga lang, I'll serve your drinks later on" He replied and handed the buzzer to Astoria.
We both sat on our usual spot and 'di kalaunan ay sinerve na ni Ben ang mga drinks namin.
"Thanks Ben" I smiled at him.
"Okay so... ex mo nga yung kanina sa simbahan?" Panimulang tanong ni Astoria.
"yup" I nodded.
"Miss mo?" She burst out laughing.
"Shut up" I rolled my eyes.
"pero miss mo nga?"
"uh huh"
"Edi balikan mo" She teased.
"What?" I furrowed my brows, like what is she saying?
"Pag miss mo, pwedeng balikan" she winked.
"No way"
"Taas pa rin ng pride mo boss"
"It's not that–"
"Eh ano?" She arched her brows.
"I can't– hindi pwede, masasaktan lang kami ulit"
"That's the past, malay mo pagbigyan na kayo ulit ni tadhana"
"What can I do ba?"
"Puntahan mo sa bahay niya, confess kana boss, ilang taon mo yan kinimkim oh, deserve nyang malaman lahat nyan" she said with sincerity in her voice while pointing at my heart
