*Third–person POV*
Today is Markie and Andy's five year anniversary, the two planned an intimate vacation in La Union. "Babi, you okay?" Markie asked her wife who looked rather sick.
"I...I feel sick, Markie" Andy murmured.
"Do you want me to buy you medicine?" She asked.
"S-sige" she answered, Markie immediately grabbed the car keys from the table and asked Gale to accompany her.
"Sure ka ba?" Gale asked with a glint of doubt.
"Yeah, kaya bilisan mo na diyan."
"Pre, hindi kaya buntis nanaman 'yan?" She asked her friend.
Markie stopped what she was doing, "Oh gosh, yes! Tama ka!"
"Bilhan mo na rin ng pregnancy test" she suggested, and grabbed a box of pregnancy test from the shelf.
"Tara na" and the two proceeded to pay at the counter.
"Babi, I also got you a pregnancy test" says Markie who gave her wife the bag of things she had bought for her.
"Before you say anything...just try it, hm?" She went over to place a peck on her wife's forehead.
"Thanks, I'll be right back."
After a few minutes of waiting, Andy finally came back with the result on her hand, "How was it?" Markie stood up from her seat.
Andy looked down on the result, tears forming in her eyes as she said, "Positive!"
"Really?" Markie couldn't believe what was happening.
The two tried IVF treatment from the second time, and eventually, with God's blessing, it worked.
"Let's announce it mamayang dinner" Markie suggested.
"We want to announce something" Markie stood up from her seat to get everyone's attention.
She gave Andy a quick glance before speaking, "Andy's pregnant."
"Woah, congrats!" Everyone in the table congratulated the couple.
That day, marked the happiest day of the two couple. Regardless of their messy journey, the two still managed to survive every consequences the universe threw in their way. Love is unpredictable, you can't predict what the future holds, all you have to do is go with the flow and learn how to take risks—just like Markie and Andy. If you really love someone, learn how to accept them—their decisions, mistake, everything. That way, no person would be harmed your love.
