My alarm rang, nang nagising ako I checked my surroundings and I was in my condo, mukhang hinatid ako ni Markie dito kagabi. Tumayo ako at dali-daling pumasok sa banyo to freshen up, hinugasan ko ang mukha ko at nag toothbrush. Pansin ko rin na ako'y nakapantulog na. Nang matapos na'ko mag freshen up, lumabas ako ng banyo and went over to the living room—expecting Markie to be there. The living room was empty, with a quiet morning atmosphere embracing it.

What I don't get about Markie is why is she being like this? We can always start fresh, right?
As I was about to cook breakfast, my doorbell rang. Lumapit ako sa pintuan at binuksan ito—oh holy fuck, it was Jeremiah Glinoga, ang lalaking kinasusuklaman ni Markie eversince college.
Ano bang ginagawa niya dito?
"J-Jeremy! What a surprise! You're here" I let out a sarcastic tone.
"Of course!" He exclaimed as he pulled me in for a tight embrace.
"Come in?"
"Sure"
I led him to the living room and immediately cooked breakfast.
"I'm sorry, kakagising ko lang kaya walang breakfast" I said habang nag-piprito ng itlog.
"It's fine, I'm just here para kamustahin ka"
"Buti naisipan mong umuwi for Christmas?" he added.
"Iba pa rin yung Christmas sa Pilipinas. Hindi ko ramdam yung pasko sa states" I replied, turning off the stove and plating the breakfast.
