Birthday Chapter!

The agency is definitely hiding something from me...

These were the thoughts that Ali was presented with, for about a week everyone at the agency had been quiet... Distant to put it.

Are they gonna fire me???

Ali put some extra tofu into Kyouka's soup as she walked over to the kotasu, placing down their breakfast as she sighed.

Kyouka hummed as she ate the tofu, then she looked up at Ali in concern. "Ali-sama... Is anything bothering you?" She asked, swallowing some tofu.

I shouldn't bother her! This is an adult thing!

"It's nothing. How's the agency been?" Ali asked, sipping her own soup and grabbing her chopsticks.

"Well, Yosano and Naomi have been trying to get me to go shopping for days... And Ranpo's made me his designated train station guider." Kyouka told her.

Actually, does Kyouka have any other clothes besides that kimono? Maybe I could go shopping with her and the girls.

Ali smiled, "How about we go shopping with Yosano and Naomi then? We can do it after work-"

Kyouka quickly shook her head, "No. I mean, I heard that Yosano has a lot of work today, and that Naomi has... Stuff to do." She quickly said.

"What stuff does Naomi have to do? She's an assistant. And as for Yosano... She didn't tell me about extra work." Ali told Kyouka, drinking some coffee as she looked at Kyouka curiously.

Kyouka's eyes shifted to the side, "Well Yosano had an unexpected increase in work and... Naomi's with her brother." She said, her voice trailing off at the end.

Oh dear.

The moment Ali heard about Naomi and her brother, she began sweating. "K-Kyouka... If Naomi talks to you about Tanizaki, then just ignore her okay?" She told Kyouka, her hands slightly shaking.

"I know Ali... I know very well..." Kyouka told Ali, she finished her breakfast as she stood up.

Ali looked at her phone as she grabbed her bag, "It's time for work." She said, opening the door for Kyouka and locking it behind her as she left.

Kyouka waved at Atsushi as he exited his room, when he locked eyes with Ali, he quickly shifted his gaze to the side.

This earned a slight scowl from Kyouka, who ran up to him and whispered some stuff in his ear. 

Atsushi stiffened, "Good morning Ali. What a beautiful day." He said almost robotically, earning a glare from Kyouka.

"What part of act normal do you not understand?" She whisperer yelled at him, before smiling at Ali. "Everything is perfectly fine, I think Atsushi forgot to take his medications... I'll help him take it." 

Since when did Atsushi take medications??? Am I missing out on something?

Without waiting for Ali to react, Kyouka grabbed Atsushi's arm and dragged him back into his dorm. Before she closed the door she looked at Ali, "You can go to work by yourself." She told her, closing the door.

Yep. I'm definitely getting fired.
