Kira was exhausted. Right after arriving at the school campus, her brother had vanished, most likely ditching the assembly. So, as his teacher, she was given the responsibility to find him.

The usually bustling school was eerily quiet, with the assembly already underway and only distant murmurs reaching her. Kira had scoured the main areas and classrooms but hadn't found Karma. Her frustration peaked when she finally saw a red-haired figure at the stairwell.

When she looked closer, she realized that she had found Karma sitting on the steps, headphones on, clearly absorbed in his music. His backpack lay carelessly beside him, and he looked completely at ease.

Kira approached him. Karma looked up, pulling off one headphone with an indifferent expression. "What's up?"

Kira's frustration was evident, though she kept her voice controlled. "Karma, the assembly has started, and you're supposed to be there. What are you doing here?"

Karma shrugged, not even bothering to hide his reluctance. "Just didn't feel like dealing with it. It's the same every time, and I'm not in the mood to be the center of everyone's jokes."

Kira's eyes narrowed slightly. "Skipping out on the assembly isn't a good idea. You know there could be consequences for not showing up."

Karma's response was casual, almost challenging. "I'd rather take whatever punishment comes my way than suffer through that assembly."

Kira listened to him, then nodded hesitantly. "Fine, if that's how you feel, I'll let them know I couldn't find you. But, I won't be able to protect you from the consequences."

Karma met her gaze steadily. "Fine by me."

Kira's expression softened, but her tone remained firm. "I'll try to catch up before the assembly ends. Don't be late to class after this."

Karma simply nodded, giving a half-hearted smile. "Got it. Thanks for covering for me, I guess."

With that, Kira turned and headed back toward the assembly hall. She re-entered, making sure to appear flustered and slightly apologetic. She approached Mr. Karasuma and explained, with a touch of exasperation, that she hadn't been able to locate Karma. He nodded silently at her words, though his eyes showed a hint of concern.

After informing Mr. Karasuma, Kira stood beside Irina gracefully, nodding at her with a smile. As they chatted, she was oblivious to the whispers coming from the other students.

"Another 3-E teacher? What the hell??"

"Another hottie? No way! That's so unfair, why do we only get the ugly teachers?"

Kira caught a few glances and heard bits of the murmurs but chose to ignore them, focusing instead on the assembly and her conversation with Irina. As the teacher at the podium began speaking, Kira's attention was drawn back to the stage.

"Alright, the student council events are explained on the handouts you've just been given."

Kira's eyes scanned the crowd, and she noticed her students from Class E still hadn't received any handouts. Isogai, one of her students, called out from the crowd. "Excuse me, sir! Class E didn't get any handouts!"

Kira's face turned into a slight frown as she saw the teacher's reaction. The teacher mockingly explained that they seemed to have forgotten to print handouts for Class E. Kira sighed, feeling a wave of frustration. "What the hell? Could he be any more sadistic?" The blonde beside her commented. But before she could reply, a sudden draft seemed to sweep through the room, and, remarkably, handouts began appearing in the hands of Class E students.

And mysteriously a round-headed man was standing right next to her. She shrieked, jumping unto Irina, who looked at her in shock. "Oh, there we go. Everyone has a handwritten copy now, it would seem." The creature informed the class president, ignoring the black-haired woman's reaction.

"Oh, we got our handouts. Pease continue sir!" Isogai proceeded to inform the teacher, "What? N-No way! How!? Hey, now. Who killed our fun?! Er, um..Ahem!! Let us continue!"

"Just didn't feel like dealing with it. It's the same every time, and I'm not in the mood to be the center of everyone's jokes."

Kira was reminded of Karma's words. She was deep in thought, not even noticing Irina trying to assassinate the disguised teacher right in front of the entire school body. 'What type of shitty system is this?'
