"Alright, Austin. What do you have planned?" Fiore spoke as she crouched next to him, behind a bush.

"Well, well, well! Glad you asked" Austin replied, Leaving Fiore and Nora to watch in utter confusion as he pulled out a very poorly drawn picture of their school playground.

The playground was only for the third graders and below, but sometimes the school let older kids play on it while waiting for their bus (if it was late, which is why a lot of them prayed it was sometimes).

"Austin. This isn't a 1990s Scooby Doo movie. You can't just use a drawing map of our school playground" Nora scoffed.

"And the drawing sucks" Fiore added.

"Well aren't you two just the nicest people in the world" Austin rolled his eyes.

Normally, Austin and Fiore would just sit and insult each other (playfully) when their bus was late. But since Nora's parents were always absent, she just went home to Austin's house. His mom was surprisingly welcoming.

"So anyways!" Austin started speaking again, "Nora, did you bring pliers?"

"Yep!" Nora spoke, pulling a pair of pliers out of her hoodie pocket.

"How did those even.... y'know what nevermind" Fiore cut herself off.

"What are you gonna do with those anyways?" Fiore asked.

"We're gonna cut the swings metal" Nora chuckled. "So whenever Kade and his friends go to use them, they CAN'T!"

Austin smirked. "And we're gonna leave one hardly intact but still standing, so when Kade goes to use it he'll fall!"

"Ooohh, why didn't you tell me earlier? I wanna help!" Fiore spoke.

"Anyways, what's the map for Austin? I don't see why we need one. Plus, it's hardly readable" Nora asked.

"Ok, first of all, shame on me for wanting to contribute! And second of all, you're hardly one to talk, Nora. Aren't you failing art class?"

Nora rolled her eyes and spoke in a sarcastic tone. "at least my writing is readable"

"Are we gonna ruin the swings or not?" Fiore scolded them.

"Oh yeah, let's go" Austin replied. He slowly got up and looked around. "Coast is clear, my assistants"

Nora rolled her eyes and got up as well, pliers in hand. Fiore stood up after her.

After walking around the playground for a bit, making sure it was pretty much empty, the stopped at the swing set.

Once they had decided the swings were too high up for Nora to ruin on her own, she lifted Fiore onto her shoulders (with Austin's help so Fiore wouldn't fall), and handed Fiore the pliers.

"Ok so...uhh how do I do this?" Fiore asked.

"Ya see that chain on the very top? And how it has a slit in it? Use the pliers to make the slit bigger and it'll slide off of the thing it's hanging from!" Austin spoke.

"...ok?" Fiore attempted to do what Austin had instructed. It took her a second to get it, but eventually she got it to work.

Nora flinched a bit once the side of the swing fell, but tried to keep her composure so she wouldn't drop Fiore.

"Alright, this one is done" Fiore looked down at Austin as she spoke.

With Austin's help again, Fiore got off of Nora's shoulders and onto the ground so they could move on to the next swing.

After about 15 minutes, they finally managed to get all of the swings to fall except one. They had made it so that one would fall as soon as someone sat on it.

"Good job, assistants. Our work here is done!" Austin announced.

"We're not your assistants" Nora spoke and rolled her eyes.

Just then, the bus FINALLY pulled into the bus stop.

"It's actually fucking ridiculous how long that bus took" Fiore commented.

Nora and Austin nodded in agreement and the three of them got on the bus.
