You can be reading this from all over the world. Maybe, you are in a plane, maybe you are on a boat. However, you are probably reading this from the comfort of your own home. Regardless, you probably have loving parents, fashionable clothes and a mobile phone. Well, the Baudelaire's didn't have anything of this things.

"How are we going to go shopping if we don't have money?" asked Violet, confused.

"You can take out a maximum of five thousand from your bank account every month," explained Isadora.

"Five thousand a month?!" exclaimed Klaus "There's now way we will be able to use all of this in a month."

"I mean, that is the maximum, so I guess, we won't take out so much" thought Duncan.

The Baudelaire's and the Quagmire's walked to the bank to take out a bit of money from their enormous fortunes. Duncan went to the city center to meet up with Carmelita. She was also going to Prufrock Prep. Duncan and Carmelita seemed to communicate rather well. Quigley and Isadora suspected something, but they never talked about it.

While they were riding on the trolley, Violet remembered something important.

"Aren't we supposedly criminals?" she asked, with a worried look on her face.

"Don't worry, they dropped the charges a long time ago," assured her Quigley.

The rest of the ride to the bank was pretty smooth. They were talking about random things they saw on the street. This involved a bit of flirting between Violet and Quigley. Klaus and Isadora were talking about something they were interested in. Probably poetry or literature.

Finally, they arrived at the bank. As they were walking to the the entrance, Violet remembered something.

"Won't Mr. Poe know that we are here?" she asked. Mr. Poe always was the one to continue their bad luck streak.

"Don't worry, he got promoted a long time ago. Now he is too important to care about us." reassured her Isadora. They smiled at each other.

They entered the bank and went over to the first stand. They saw a well dressed man with a friendly look on his face.

"Good morning. I am Larry Your Banker. How may I help you?" he acted as if he didn't recognize them. The children immediately knew who it was, but also acted as if he was unfamiliar.

"We would like to withdraw ten thousand dollars. Five from the Baudelaire's account, five from the Quagmire's" said Isadora.

"It is a Verified Financial Disbursement" quickly added Violet.

"It will be done" said Larry Your Banker "oh, and Baudelaire's, here are your credit cards. Use your money wisely."

The children thanked him and left the bank. They decided to go to the mall to buy some stuff. The Baudelaire's wanted to buy school equipment, but Quigley said that now it was free. This way they could buy whatever they wanted. They decided to split into two groups - boys and girls. They went in opposite directions, everyone discussing something.

--------------------------------------------------------

"Klaus, I think we got five thousand each" said Quigley, turning around to face him.

"No way!" Klaus was excited.

They went around the mall. Nothing especially caught their attention. Until they walked past the Apple store. Quigley basically dragged Klaus in.

"Bro, you have to buy the latest iPhone!" started persuading him Quigley.

"It costs like a thousand!" exclaimed Klaus. He was always careful with his funds, even though he was basically a millionaire.

"You're literally a millionaire," pointed out Quigley.

"I guess that's true" agreed Klaus.

They walked out of the store. Klaus was holding his new phone. They decided to buy some fashionable clothes. They walked into a clothing store. There were no suits. In contrary, there were t-shirts with modern prints, shorts, hoodies, and fashionable shoes.

"What is this clothing?" asked Klaus, confused.

"This is what everyone wears now. You have to admit that it looks good. Just try some on" said Quigley.

Klaus agreed to try some clothes on. After a while he walked back, with a black t-shirt. It had a lemon print on the back. He was also wearing black shorts. He took a step to the mirror. It looked really different from his usual clothes.

"Do you like it?" asked Quigley

"It does look good" admitted Klaus.

The picked up more clothes, so that he could have variation. He also bought two pairs of Jordans. One were grey, and the others black. Next, Quigley persuaded Klaus to buy a new pair of glasses, so they were walking to a store.

"You still didn't explain why do I need new glasses" said Klaus. He didn't want to change his glasses.

"You want to attract Isadora, right? She will love the new glasses."

"I don't want to attr..." blushed Klaus.

"We both know the truth," knowingly smiled Quigley.

They entered the store. It was full of all the different types of glasses. Klaus didn't like any of them. They were about to give up, when Quigley saw something on the other side of the store. It was a pair of round glasses with a sliver frame.

"They are perfect," exhaled Quigley "What do you think?"

"Yeah, they look really clean," had to admit Klaus.

"Try them on," persuaded him Quigley.

Klaus put them on. They changed his appearance a lot. They still made him look more intelligent, but they also looked minimalistic and didn't take up much space from his face. Klaus immediately liked them.

--------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile Violet and Isadora were doing basically the same. They already bought Violet a phone, and now they were going to shop for some new clothes. Just like Klaus, Violet only had one pair of clothes on the island for obvious reasons.

"Look Violet, we are going to completely change your style," said Isadora, her eyes flickering with excitement.

"And what exactly does that mean?" asked Violet, with a confused look on her face.

"Well, I have been thinking that we buy you some white tops. Also, some jeans shorts." replied Isadora, visibly excited at the prospect of picking clothes for her best friend.

They walked into a clothing store. However, nothing seemed to please Isadora. She said that everything looked old-fashioned. After walking around for quiet some time, they finally picked up some clothes. Violet entered the dressing room to try them on.

"Omg, you look so modern," exclaimed Isadora.

"Is this what everyone now wears?" asked Violet. She was visibly confused by this clothing, but also intrigued to try a new style.

"Yeah. Trust me, Quigley will LOVE this outfit," smirked Isadora.

"How do you... I'm not..." blushed Violet.

"Save it, we both know the truth. Alright, I think we're all done. Shall we find the boys?" switched the theme Isadora.

As they started walking, Violet's mind, as always, switched to Quigley. She wondered if he would actually like the outfit. And her. She remembered their kiss on the waterfall. Violet wondered if it meant anything.

"Oh, look, I see them!" exclaimed Isadora.
