What's up everybody! Thank you so much for checking out my story. This will be my first and likely only story that I will write on this app, and this story concept is the reason for my being here in the first place. I've been reading fanfiction on this app for many years now, and many I have loved. Mostly any that have to do with Konosuba. I've read many fanfictions about this anime, but a lot of them didn't really scratch the itch that I had going in, if that makes any sense.
I know we've all looked at something and thought, "Damn, I feel like I could do that! How hard can it be?" Well, I'm about to find out. When I sat at my laptop today and started writing I knew one thing for certain, and that's that I want to create the best story out of any that I've read. And that will be hard mind you, because there are some incredibly talented people here who have created some stories that I still remember years later. And that will be my goal going into this project: to make something that hopefully sticks with you a while. If you want examples, Kaphlowee and MeguminBestGirl have my two favorites. But read mine first, damn it.
With that being said, there is nothing worse than reading a perfect story and realizing about halfway through that it's not getting updated anymore. I'm sure it's happened to you a few times, because it has definitely happened to me. I don't wanna make any promises I can't keep, because I've got school starting in a week or two and I have no idea where that's gonna take me. Just know I will try my best to keep this updated.
I have taken inspiration from many of the stories I've read, and the events in this book will mostly follow the plotline of the series, at least for now. I will make sure to change things decently often to create my own story, but it shouldn't stray too far from the source material. Some things will be shortened, some (greatly) lengthened, and maybe some removed. I'm also gonna be adding some original scenes here and there. You've been warned.
