As it turns out Naraku's statement was false, it seemed he was trying to distract us from fighting properly, but it proved to be easier when we were afraid that I might be pregnant, after we made him retreat we went to Kaede's and she informed us the we were in fact not pregnant.

~two days later~

It was a quiet morning and Rin and I were bathing in a near by lake, the water was cold but nice. I was scrubbing her hair with soap to get out the demon goop that landed on us after Sesshomaru had killed him. it was disgusting, the demon had jumped over us and I pulled Rin behind me and was about to burn him but Sesshomaru killed it and all the blood and guts landed on us. looking at him in anger and disgust I fumed. my fox fire steamed off my body in waves and it melted most of the demon off but Rin and I still needs the bath and that was what we were doing.

"There Rin your done and can get out now." she cheered and swam to the edge of the pool and got out then into her kimono. when she was gone I leaned into the water and relaxed some more. after a few minutes I submerged my head and pushed all my hair back along with my ears--"look at what we have here boys, a beautiful maiden bathing." turning my head I raised my ears and one-handedly cracked my knuckles while summoning my fox fire. (A/N: like Tomoe does when he is about to burn or punch Kurama.) "leave or suffer the wrath of my fox demon fire." I said coldly and full of hate. these humans laughed and treaded into the water, then one of them was close enough I threw my fire at him.

then I watched as he burned and died his pitiful screams drowned out as his body sunk under the now blood stained water. the last few of them stopped for a moment before moving again only this time they ran the other way, but I was pissed off and they weren't going to get way with ruining my bath. so I summoned my fire foxes and sent them after them. in the distance I could hear their screams of pain. when I moved out of the water I felt someone watching me, and I knew it want Sesshoumaru. quickly I got dressed, because this presence was way more, darker and fouler. "Naraku." I said sourly. "ah! you remember me." he said with a smirk and cocky attitude. "it took me a while to fix my body after your last attack. you do not now how to hold back do you." he said like he was implying something.

"what are you saying Naraku?" I asked putting my hand on my sword. "I'm saying I've seen you fight and I've seen you make love." gasping I backed up, "and let me tell you Sesshoumaru has nothing on your level of passion, trust me I can give you so much more." I scoffed, and drew my sword. "you have no idea what your talking about Naraku, and I will never go or do anything with you so don't even try anything with me." when I finished talking I jumped into the air and raised my sword to strike Naraku but someone distracted me. "NARAKU!" both of us looked to the left to see Inuyasha, run out of the trees. I groaned and continued my attack.

with him distracted I cut deep into his shoulder and split him in two. but from the wound tentacles shot out and wrapped around me. my first reaction was to scream, so I did. "SESSHOUMARU!" as soon as the name left my mouth Naraku growled and squeezed his hold on me. crying out in pain it was starting to become hard to stay awake and soon all I saw was darkness.
