Chapter Six

when we met up with Rin and Jaken I reintroduced myself, "hello, I'm Soushi, I will be traviling with you until sesshoumaru or myself have other buisneuss to finish with." I said with a slight smile. the little girl came over to me and held my fingers seeing as she is smaller than me and can only reach that far. "hello Soushi-sama, I'm Rin." patting her on the head with my free hand I picked her up and placed her on the horse-dragon. she took hold of the creatures mane and i held the rains in my right hand while i took sesshoumaru's right hand in my left.

Looking down at me he smirked slightly and squezzed my hand. it was a few more hours before we were forced to stop, but i wouldnt allow it and when we were walking by the demon that jumped in front of us i threw the rains to the toad and stepped infront of sesshoumaru and growled at the demon "you are unworthy of his time move or be destroyed by me." the thing just laughed at me. then attacked but it jumped over me and went straight for Sesshoumaru. But I grabbed it's ankle and threw him back to where he was.

Standing to his feet he realized I was going to be a pest. so this time he attacked me or he tried to at least. Ignighting my hand I plunged my arm elbow deep into his chest. as he screamed i rip out his heart and shoved it into his mouth then kicked him into a deferent part of the forest. turning back to sesshoumaru and the others they -being Rin and Jaken- seemed surprised and scared at the same time. Sesshoumaru only smiled softly before wrapping his arms around me and kissing me on the neck and then moving up to my lips.

"ahhh...Sesshoumaru not here you horny dog." he chuckled in my ear and then took my non-bloody hand and pulled me after him with the others following behind us. it was about two hours after the demon attack that Rin asked to get some food. Sesshoumaru nodded for her to go and I decided to go with her. i caugh Sesshoumaru smile and i smirked. "Rin wait up i'm going to go with you." she turned to me and smiled and held my hand. it didn't take long to find something for her to eat, and on the way back she munched on some berries and offerd one to me.

i took it out of curiosity, and popped it into my mouth. i knew that demons eating human food was bad but this was intence. it was like i ate dirt, but she was watching me so i grimanced and swollowed it. she smiled and ran ahead. instantly i spat out what was left and gagged on the parts that i managed to choke down. coughing and gagging i didnt hear sesshoumaru come up behind me and pat me on the back. "god that was nasty." he chuckled and i snuggled into his moko-moko. "why did you eat it then?" i shrugged "i was being nice i guess." he sighed and helpped me stand properly.

"well, well what have we here, Lord Sesshoumaru of the West and Lady Soushi of the North." our heads snapped up and we came face to face with a Naraku incarnastion. looking at Sesshoumaru through the corner of my eye, then back at the wind demoness. standing straight and placing a hand on my hip, "and are you jealous weakling?" she snarled at me and pulled out a fan, i snorted, "what are you going to do fan me to death?" she smirked and i still wasnt impressed. "love let me handle her." smirking Sesshoumaru stepped back.

"what is your name demon?" still growling at me she said "Kagura of the Wind." nodding i said "well Kagura, get ready because i'm going to be a challenge, not even your master stands a chance against me." shrieking she swung her arm and shouted, "DANCE OF BLADES!" sending blade like tornados she smirked, but i held out my hand and caught the attack. them not being sharp enough to cut me i snapped them in one hand. she gasped and sent another attack, "DANCE OF THE DRAGON!" her next attack was somewhat stronger than her last though it made no differance to me.

because i pulled out my sword and used my own power to send her attack back. as she struggled to attack me i just stood infront of Sesshoumaru and made out with him. knowing full well it pissed her off. when i stopped kissing him i faced her again and flashstepped infront of her and cut her across the chest. she had moved at the last second and survived. while holding her chest she escaped. shrugging i put away my sword and turned to hug Sesshoumaru. when we got back to Rin and Jaken they were asleep and curled up next to Ah-Un. i smiled and pulled out a blanket from the saddle back and placed it over them both.

then i walked to where Sesshoumaru was sitting and curled up next to him. he wrapped his arm around me and petted my head and ears until we fell asleep. the night was quiet and warm and my sleep was peaceful and relaxing. the warmth from sesshoumaru's body helped me sleep soundly. until the next morning when he woke me with a kiss. and i though that if this was the way i was going to wake up every morning then it was going to be a very good thing.
