Ch 7

Jake's POV

A few weeks later
I lay down with Cherry in her hospital bed watching a movie. "do you think your okay to go out again" I ask "why" Cherry questions "well we've been dating for some time now, and my parents got home from work last night and will be in town for a few days and they said they want to meet you before they leave again" I say I see her changed expression and she looks a bit worried "you do not have to though I understand if your not ready" I say trying to comfort her she places her hand on my face "I'll be happy to meet your parents"

I pick Cherry up from the hospital and I begin to drive us to my house. "can we stop at my house so I could grab something to wear" Cherry asks "I bought you something to wear if that's okay" I say "you didn't need to do that" she says "I wanted to" I say kissing her hand she smiles "what if your parents see me in my pajamas before I get to change" she says "my parents aren't home yet so you have time to change your clothes also they are always in their home office anyway they wouldn't even notice we arrived" I say

Cherry's POV
Jake begins to tell me about how his parents are and I begin to feel a little empathy. From what he has told me it seems like his parents never put Jake as a priority. It seems as if all he had growing up was his 6 friends. I can not tell if that bothered Jake because as he spoke about it he showed no emotion. "we're here" he says as I watch a gate open. passed the gate was a huge white house with pillars and a water fountain Infront of the home it was like a house you see in movies. Since it was dark out the house shined with lights. Jake really does live in luxury.

We go inside and the house looks even bigger from the inside I think I could get lost in this place. Jake holds my hand and leads me up the stairs case to his room. his room definitely gives rich loner vibes. I sit on his bed "I'll get your clothes" Jake says before walking into his closet room. he comes out with a white box. I am the worst when it comes to receiving gifts. "open it, tell me if you like it" I open the box and see 2 separate outfits "Jake I cant except this" I say, seeing the brands I can tell he spent a pretty penny "you always say that just keep it, for me" he says I hug him tightly and he kisses me. It was a long kiss, I push the box aside as he lays me down on the bed continuing to kiss me going down my neck and going back up to my lips he grips my hips firmly and I pull him closer feeling his body on top of me. Jake pulls away from the kiss and slowly gets up "sorry I got distracted, you should get changed" he says offering his hand so I can get up too. I push my thoughts away on why he stopped and get up to change.

After I get done me and Jake stay in his room "so have you always lived being rich" I ask ubrupty he laughs at my directness "I have always liked how up front you are, but yes I am fortunate enough to live without worrying about money" he says "what made your family so rich" "my parents own a marketing company that is very successful" Jake says I nod "that's why they are always gone, they are always in other places so they can get more clients and get them to work with our company" Jake says "they gave up being in your life to give you a wealthy life" I say Jake nods he looks upset so I hug him "Jake your parents love you, I know they are absent most of the time but I am here for you" I say he hugs me back "I know"

Me and Jake start walking down the stairs heading towards the dinning room and people enter from the front door and it was Caro and her parents. I look at Jake and he sighs "I forgot they were coming too, Caro's parents and mine are friends so they join us often for dinner" Jake says I nod Caro walks up to us "well would you look at that you two lasted longer then all of Jake's relationships Cherry you broke a record" Caro says "Hi its nice seeing you too Caro" I say she fakes a smile and walks away bumping into Jakes shoulder. It's going to be a long night.
