Jake's POV

"Jake your parents want to speak to you" the housekeeper says passing me the home phone "hello" I say "Jake why did the school counselor contact us saying you still have not applied for college, school ends in a few weeks" my dad says in a angry tone "they probably messaged you by mistake" I lie "Jake there's no way this could have been a mistake" he says "well I don't know what to tell you, I am going to college" I say "Jake we're gonna look into the college and see if you did apply, this is a serious matter involving your future at this company" I hand the phone back to the housekeeper "Thank you, you can hang up on them now" I say before going to school.

I arrive to school and meet up with everyone "Jake what took you so long usually your the first one" Sunghoon says "I don't know I was talking to my parents" I say he nods "everyone has been talking about the end of the school year party" Heeseung says "we haven't been to a party in a long time" Sunoo says "I blame Cherry" Jay says "I agree in a good way of course" Jungwon says "yeah if it was not for her we would all still be alcoholics" Ni-Ki says "Jake you have found yourself a good one, she helped us all be better" Sunghoon says

I sit in class watching as the teacher spoke finally he gave us a break so I put my head down on the desk "Jake your parents keep bothering me" I hear Caro's irritating voice "about what" I ask "they keep asking me to check up on you about college and they also want me to get back together with you, since the school year is ending they think in the summer it would be a good time for us to get married" I immediately start laughing "Caro I would rather die then marry you" I say "your rude, so many guys would die to marry me" "I fortunately am not one of those guys" I say "whatever your lucky I am doing you the favor and not telling your parents anything" I roll my eyes and put my head back down.

After school I go to see Cherry. nurses rushing in and out of her room I begin to panic Lottie stops me at the door "you cant go in right now" she says "what happened" I ask "shes been unconscious for a while we still do not know exactly what happened" I sit on the chair outside her room. Cherry's dad comes out from the room and sits next to me "is this really what you want for your life, constant worry if Cherry is conscious and okay, I have been living like this since she was born Jake it is draining" he says "I understand that, but I love her" I say "as long as shes okay its worth the worry" I say "she'll be okay this time" he says, this time? what does he mean before I could say anything someone stands infront of me "can I talk to you" Toshi says

Me and Toshi go to a more private area "I have officially been released from this place" Toshi says, if I was not so worried about Cherry I probably would have guessed that, Toshi wasn't wearing his hospital bracelet and he was dressed nice "I am happy to hear that" I say "I told Cherry and she was so happy that I recovered enough to start my life outside, and then that's when she went unconscious" he says "it seems like it was my fault, everytime she feels a lot of emotions she goes unconscious I used to joke with her saying her heart is too big for her body that's why shes here" he says "Jake do not hurt Cherry.... I love her but I lover her enough to let her go, please tell her I am leaving this city and am not coming back tell her to never change" I nod "I will tell her"
