Jake's POV
We all sit together at a table and then begins the circus. They all begin bickering and arguing with each other over meaningless things and Cherry laughs at them. "Why hasn't Jake said anything you used to always be apart of these arguments" Sunghoon says "you have changed Sim Jaehyun" Jungwon says "could he be maturing?" Sunoo says and they all act like they have been stabbed "how dare you even suggest that" Ni-Ki says "Its because of Cherry" Heeseung says "I am exactly the same do not bring her into this" I say "Jake was mine first Cherry" Sunghoon says and Cherry laughs "I am sure part of him still is" she says jokingly.
Cherry's POV
I did not expect them to join us for lunch but I underestimated them. They all seemed so happy to come along. Soon enough the food came and they quiet down a little I am sitting between Jake and Sunoo. "I heard Caro wasn't the nicest party host to you" Sunoo says I slowly nod "I heard her telling her friends in class, I do not mean to get in your business but you should ignore her, I know it sounds like we were joking about Jake maturing but we all deep down realized he did mature for the better, for you" Sunoo says I smile at Sunoo softly "that means a lot coming from you Jake's friend I just hope your right" I say he nods.
After eating we part ways with the 6 boys and me and Jake walk to his car "I didn't expect them to join us" I say in a apologetic tone "I knew they would but it is okay as long as you are there with me still I do not mind" Jake says I smile at his kind words. we stop at the passenger seat door "Cherry, I really like you a lot" Jake says holding my hands, why am I suddenly feeling dizzy. "I really like you too Jake" I say Jake hugs me tightly making me feel a little worse but I do not want to ruin the moment. Jake gently touches my face and kisses me. I kiss him back but I cant help but feel weaker I pull away "Jake I don't feel good" were the last words I say before the power shut off completely over my whole body.
Jake's POV
I try not to panic as I catch Cherry's body before she falls on the ground. The only thing I begin to think of is take her back to the hospital. As I am driving I call Lottie and tell her what happened so when I arrive she will help me get Cherry back in. Once Cherry is back in her room nurses go rushing in. I sit on the chair outside of her room I put my head in my hands I do not think I have ever been this anxious and scared "relax this is not Cherry's first time passing out, she will be okay" Lottie says as I look to her I take a deep breathe "I hope so" I say
Cherry's dad arrives to the hospital and he talks to the doctors I watch his expression he looked worried the entire time the doctor spoke until the last words his expression changed to hopeless and empty I begin to panic again. I look inside the room and Cherry is awake talking to the nurse barely able to move her lips. I stare at the ground thinking of all the things the doctor could've said. Cherry's Dad sits next to me he doesn't say anything for a while then sighs "Cherry is very sick, for your own good you should distance yourself from her" he says "Jake it really pains me to tell you to leave my daughter alone knowing how happy you make her" I do not respond so we sit in silence I process every word he said. the nurse comes from out of Cherry's room "Cherry would like to see Jake" I stand up and face her father "with all due respect, I am never leaving your daughter" I say before he can answer I walk into Cherry's room.
