I've been playing Persona 4 Golden nonstop for the past 2 months and let me tell you I'm invested! It's mainly cuz I have to leave for school soon, but the other part is cuz I wanna finish the game.
I didn't finish P5R cuz my ps4 decided to shut down for months so I couldn't play any games at all. I thought it was the end of it, and we'd have to get a new console. But thankfully, it decided to start back up again.
However, we discovered something, something that would be considered a gamer's worst nightmare. Unsaved data. That's right, all of my data and grinding was all gone. Lost cuz of the malfunction, so I had to start P5R from the very beginning. Which didn't help since I already had to restart the original P5 cuz I didn't have the right Personas or skill level. So, I ended up playing through Kamoshida's Castle a total of 3 times!
It was so frustrating, but I managed to get back into it after awhile. But I was annoyed cuz I was at the 5th, not the 4th or the 3rd, the 5th boss fight with spaceship and Okumura. Only to be set back to the very beginning. Oh the pain!
So, I think I'm at Egyptian palace with Futaba and gang, but idk for sure cuz I haven't been playing the game lately. But I'm proud to say that I made it pretty far to say the least. But going from P5 to P5R to P4G is humbling. Brutally humbling. Cuz those 2 might be Persona games, but they're very very different.
