Once again, the train to Hogwarts was peaceful. The scenery rivalled that of some of the finest photographs Ava had ever seen.
Well, she had quite a bit to ponder over so she decided some chocolate frogs would help her.She had recently found out that Arthur and molly were moving away from the family home into a new home they had dubbed, the burrow. This was-the last September her brother waved her off, and something deep inside her ached for the good times she had spent with him.
"Ava! I haven't spoken to you for ages, can I sit?" Alice poked her head round the door- hair significantly shorter than the last time she had seen it- and offered a polite smile.
"Of course, Emma Rose and Artemis Black are coming t-"
"Ah they're here! Hi you two!"
Emma waved almost mechanically, wheras Artemis snarled at the girl in question.~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•
The train ride had only just started when they heard the best sound you could possibly hear on a train.
'The trolley'"Anything from the-"
"I'll take the rest of the chocolate frogs if that's okay"
The woman looked at Ava like she had two heads.
"That's twenty frogs darling, are you sure you want that many?"
"Yes"
The woman shrugged before handing her the box of frogs and taking her coins. The other three girls inside the carriage looked at her with shock-
"That's a lot of frogs Ava, something going on?"
The red head shook her head dismissively, offering a frog to each girl- who gratefully accepted.

However, two carriages down was a box full of rowdy boys who were desperate for a chocolate frog, and whom began to March their way to whoever stole the rest of them.

A soft tapping on the glass broke through the girls conversation, riveting as it was it was easy distracted."I'm sorry, can we help you?"
Alice questioned the boys who stood outside their box, trapping them like rabbits in a Warren."I'm really so-" "you took all the chocolate frogs you owe us some!" The brunette began, swiftly interrupted by a shaggy ravenette.
"I'm sorry Remus, I bought them all. How many do you want?"
Before Remus could even begin James interrupted
"Thirty!"
"I don't have thirty, you can have four!"Three of the boys groaned in disappointment, however one of them smiled thankfully.
Ava handed the boys a chocolate frog each and as the other three escaped back to the safety of their own box, the redhead grabbed Remus by the shoulder.
"What's wrong?"
Ava handed him a second frog.
"I know you like them, take another."
Remus smiled at her."I owe you five chocolate frogs".

The best part about third year- Ava quickly learned- was the freedom that came with being older. At the beginning of the year, Dumbledore had gifted her a suitcase. At first glance it looked like an ordinary case, however upon further investigation it was an exact replica of the infamous suitcase belonging to none other than Newt Scammander.
Dumbledore had given it to her in hopes of utilising her natural ability of animal communications to his benefit. Several magical creatures had made their way into the school and she was tasked to keep tabs on them.
