The Escape

(based on the episode "Blue Steve hack my minecraft account" from FavreMySabre first Steve Saga series)

((Y/N)'s POV)

Sabre began his video with his usual enthusiastic tone as I continued mining some extra prismarine. We had managed to trap Blue Steve above the surface on a small island by the ocean monument. Since being captured he has either tried breaking out of the trap or has been staring at me for some reason. I felt uncomfortable under his gaze but assured myself that he was trapped and there was nothing he could do. Sabre had dragged me back to the monument to collect some extra prismarine to reinforce our trap a little bit more and make sure he couldn't escape.

Sabre walked over pointing at me as he introduced who he'd be working with, I gave a small wave before continuing to mine. Sabre went over to check the chest and mine a bit more as he mentioned what happened in the last episode of his series to new viewers. I see Sabre gesture me over to the ladder we made to get into the moment, letting me know that we should head back up as he went over his usual like and subscribe stuff. We climb up and head towards where the banners are, passing through and swimming up to the surface. "Today we were wanting to research Blue Steve, while we have him in the trap," Sabre started explaining what this video was going to be about as we waded across a flooded path that we made previously as we came up to the island. "There is Blue Steve by the way, last time me and (Y/N) barely got him in," Sabre points out the blue man in a prismarine trap. "But now that he's in there he's basically powerless," I add, walking over to the chest that's on the island. "Exactly, Blue Steve has been trying to break out but he is very much stuck in there," Sabre agrees with me as I place any excess things I have on me in the chest. "He seems to like staring at you for some reason," Sabre mutters, a little concerned and confused.

"On that note I am going to close a couple more spots off with the prismarine we just mined so that we can create as big an obstacle as possible should he break out," Sabre says, placing the prismarine we just mined over the trap, covering a couple of the windows up a bit more and adding a rim around the roof bit. "He can still cause random lightning strikes to happen and punch us if he wants," I warn him as he begins to build the rim. As if on que Blue Steve punches him away, still agitated about his predicament. Sabre gets knocked back a bit but laughs it off as he continues to build the rim. I look into the trap and see that Blue Steve has gone back to staring at me. "We are essentially safe though," Sabre says to me as he hops back down, admiring his work for a second. "We still don't know what he's fully capable of Sabre," I point out. "True, very true, I really don't want us to be caught off guard. Cause the last time that happened, we got royally screwed over," Sabre replies, taking a couple steps back.

"He's probably very upset that we trapped him in this little area here, once we get some wood for a couple of signs we can't start to make attempts at communication," I say, looking to see that we only had a couple of sticks in terms of wood at the moment. "Yeah, he put a sign down and was at least able to understand English so we'll have to stop by the mainland and cut down a couple of trees," Sabre says, standing in front of the trap and eating some of his steak. "There has to be a reason he was trapped in there in the first place, maybe he mistook us for his trapper," Sabre started theorising. "Since we've trapped Blue Steve I don't think we need to hide inside the temple anymore," I say to him, moving back a bit as the Steve stares me down. Sabre starts side stepping into the water. "Sabre what are you doing?" I ask him, very confused. "I didn't do that," he replies, swimming back to shore and standing up again. "Wasn't Steve looking in that direction too?" Sabre mutters to himself, walking back towards the trap. Blue Steve now seems to focus his gaze on Sabre. "Is there something over there, hang on," Sabre mutters again, looking over. He twitches a bit and keeps jumping side to side. "You alright?" I ask again, peering over at him concerned. "I'm like kinda jumping to the side a bit and don't know why," Sabre replies, seeming to have an internal battle with his body.

"I was trying to get a couple others online however, I think they are all asleep, so rest in pieces. We're going in alone again guys," Sabre starts addressing the viewers again. "Woah, woah, woah," Sabre starts panicking as he side steps into the water again. He swims to shore again and I help him up. He brushes it off again as he regains control over his body. "If he isn't able to read then that is going to be the first test, we'll see if it's a failure or not when we go get some wood," Sabre addresses the viewers again. Sabre then starts circling the trap back and forth with his pickaxe out. "Um, okay?" Sabre says, confused. "Is everything alright?" I ask, looking over at him. I was asking if the trap was alright and if he found any places that needed to be filled up. "I'm not in control of my body right now," Sabre says, his voice starting to shake a bit. "What do you mean you're not in control?" I reply, taking a couple steps towards him as he circles a certain corner. "I'm not doing anything, my body's moving on its own," Sabre yells back, panicked. Blue Steve starts moving around the trap with Sabre following on the other side. "Sabre, I think it's Blue Steve!" I yell running over to try and stop him in any way I can.

Sabre stops in front of a window with Blue Steve looking directly at him. He moves his head to the side slowly, Sabre following a second behind. "Sabre, he's syncing with you!" I exclaim with fear in my voice. "I can see that can you try and help me!" Sabre replies hastily. "Sorry Sabre!" I yell. "What do you mean-" Sabre replies before I cut him off with a slap on his cheek. He gets knocked back a bit but is still under the control of the Steve. "OW!" Sabre yells. I then proceed to try and bear hug him to stop or limit his movement long enough for him to gain control. Planting my feet as deep into the sand as I can. It only hinders him however as I get dragged along behind him as he takes down the four corner pillars he had just placed a couple of minutes ago. "You'd think I'd have gained some muscle after running while carrying lots of stuff for the past couple weeks," I say through gritted teeth as I lean back even further. Lightning strikes nearby, causing Sabre and I to panic further. "He's breaking the trap and he's starting to get his lightning back!" Sabre yells fearfully.

I lose my grip on the man in a chicken suit and fall back into the sand. Sabre climbs up to the roof of the trap and starts breaking it as I scramble to get back up. "If he gets out of here, I'm serious it's over, I don't think I could trap him again. It's not like we can trap him again, he's probably way smarter now!" Sabre mutters frustratedly. The only movement he seems to have control over is his head. Sabre hops back down, standing in front of one of the walls with his pickaxe ready to swing. "NO!" I yell, running forward and grabbing his arm as it's about to swing. My intervention prevented the prismarine from breaking completely but there was still a decent amount of damage done. Sabre uses his arm to fling me away again before taking another swing at the prismarine. I get back up again, spitting sand out of my mouth. "NO! No no no!" Sabre yells as Blue Steve walks out the trap. Clouds appear out of thin air and begin pouring rain water on us. "He's out, he's out and I can't even do anything about it," Sabre says, defeatedly. Lightning strikes again and Sabre tosses the remainder of the prismarine he had on him to the Steve in front of him.

Blue Steve looks at Sabre then turns his gaze to me, hovering in the air. He dives into the sea behind me, striking lightning down there before shooting into the air again. He takes one last look at Sabre before quickly advancing on me. Sabre starts yelling as his body dives into the water where Blue Steve struck lightning. Blue Steve hesitates a bit when I dive behind what was left of the trap. I breathe heavily, panicking over what could possibly happen to me now he's free again. Blue Steve slowly steps around the corner, crouching down a bit as if he's trying to not scare away a hurt animal. I tilt my head in confusion, shouldn't he be flooding the place to try and kill me? He moves to sit on his knees directly in front of me, putting his hands in his lap as he gazes at me. He doesn't seem hostile anymore, just curious. He leans forward tilting his head slightly, I can feel his breath on my face which causes me to blush slightly. He noticed this and smiled a little before quickly turning back to where Sabre was as a loud frustrated yell was heard. Before I can do anything he picks me up bridal style and takes off into the sky. I see Sabre swimming to the island, screaming my name and demanding that I be let go.
