As Beggar's Village has a bartering system instead of currency, to obtain supplies, you need to provide something in exchange. Eve currently has no valuables or items to trade, so she can only offer services. With her ox, Willy, she travels around the village to seek supplies. To obtain these supplies, Eve offers to do chores or help out the villagers in any way she can. The villagers are grateful for her assistance.

Eve began to use her backyard to train in martial arts and practice meditation. She first built a training dummy using stuffed hay and rope to create a figure resembling a person, which she attached to a long wooden pole. She placed the training dummy in the middle of her backyard. Next, she made a meditation mat by stuffing a lot of hay into a long, wide piece of cloth and then flattening it to resemble a mat.

Lastly, she set up stands to karate chop wooden blocks with her hands. There were no cinder blocks available, so she piled up leftover wooden blocks, which she requested from Jeremiah (who specializes in woodworking), to create two stands that hold the wooden blocks for her martial demonstrations.

Eve felt that she might be getting rusty with her martial arts. Fortunately, she retained all her memories of her training from her previous world. She hoped she could still chop ten blocks at once.

Later on, Eve finally started her training regime.

The original Evelina's body is very slim, so she wanted to build some muscle and hopefully get abs. Eve's workout regime consists of 100 sit-ups, push-ups, squats, and crunches each day, all performed in her backyard.

Eve also incorporates running and jogging into her routine. On the days she exercises, the villagers look at her oddly when they see her passing by. They wonder how a woman can run, thinking it is unladylike.

But Eve primarily focuses on her martial arts training. She knows several types of martial arts, including kung fu, karate, taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and Arnis. She practices her moves on the training dummy, performing punches and kicks.

Eve spent weeks doing various workouts to build muscle and flexibility. Besides exercising, she also meditates and tries to eat more healthily with the produce from the Farling brothers' farm. Through all this, she aims to feel like her old self again.

So, in her free time from working at the wheat farm, Eve trains her body and takes occasional breaks.

One day, after a heavy training session, Eve decided to give herself a test. She approached the wooden block stand, where ten wooden blocks were piled on top of each other.

"I wonder if I still have it," she said to herself.

She stood over the wooden blocks, closed her eyes, and stretched her hand forward. On the other side of her backyard, her ox, Willy, watched from his shelter while eating hay.

Eve took a few deep breaths with her eyes closed. Then she opened her eyes, lifted her hand, and swiftly brought it down in a chopping motion.

"Yaaaaaah!" she screamed.

Her hand quickly split all ten blocks at once.

"Omg! I did it! I can't believe I still have it!" Eve exclaimed, jumping up and down with her hands raised in the air. She felt like a kid again and was very proud of herself.

When she turned around, still cheering, she suddenly froze mid-cheer.

Eve saw Jeremiah, Kyle, and Mason staring at her with wide eyes and mouths agape in shock.

---

"Um...hi?" Eve awkwardly greeted the three Beckett males.

"Hello Eve," Jeremiah said awkwardly, breaking free from his stupor.
