Rosalie Williams

"Hey I'm just going to take a quick shower you can make yourself comfortable out here. You need anything?" Paige says closing and locking the door behind me and setting both of our bags on the counter.

"No I'm okay"

She smiles before walking down the hallway. I reach into my bag grabbing my laptop before walking over to the couch and grabbing a blanket.

And for the next 20 minutes I sat re reading my essay. Even though it is due in two weeks, I've finished writing it.

I hear quiet footsteps hit the hardwood floor behind me, shutting my laptop I turn my head and watch as Paige reaches for the cupboard and grabs a glass.

My face warms as I notice what she's wearing. She has on a pair of gray low rise sweatpants with a black sports bra. Her hair is damp and her cheeks are pink.

"What are you working on?" She says.

My cheeks grow red in embarrassment, "um- just a school thing. I wanted to get it done and over with"

She hums, "what do you want to do till everyone gets here?"

"Should we get snacks for later? We've gotta have something with movies right?" I smile.

"Oh shit yeah, course. I don't think I have anything in my cupboards. If you just give me a second we can go and grab some stuff" she says before backing away into her room.

Quickly, I put my laptop back in my bag and put my shoes on. Paige soon then does the same and grabs her keys.

"What do you mean you don't like mint chocolate chip ice cream?" She gasps.

"I don't know it's just not that good" Paige shrugs, as if what she just said isn't insane to. "Isn't that good?! Oh my goodness, you're crazy"

"You're weird for liking it" she says.

"And what? Your favourite is plain vanilla?" I turn and raise my brow as I put a container of mint chip ice cream in the cart.

"Um no? It's French vanilla actually"

"Oh wow, I'm so sorry, you're right they're so incredibly different" I say locking eyes with her, my face clear of any emotion.

Until a grin creeps up on to my face, Paige soon does the same as we burst into a fit of laughter. Customers walking past eye us before continuing on with their shopping. But I don't think neither of us exactly cared in that moment.

"Okay come on we gotta grab a few more things" I say grabbing the end of the cart pulling it in my direction.

"Okay, chips, ice cream, pillows.. blankets! Paige where's all your blankets?" Rosalie says whirling around.

They're in the closet in my room, if you give me a minute I'll grab some" i say lifting my head up as I pour the bag of chips in the bowl.

"Nope! I'll find them" she smiles sweetly before walking into my room.

Bringing the bowls to the table I set them down. Before I even fully stand up I faintly hear a soft thumping sound my brows furrow.

Slowly, I walk down the hall and the sound gets louder as I near my room. Taking a step in I watch as Rosalie jumps reaching her hand out towards the blankets above her. Failing, she tries again.

"Need some help?" I ask

She quickly turns shrieking, "Paige! Stop doing that" she whines.

I smile, "Well, maybe you shouldn't get so scared so easily" I stand in front of her, she sticks her tongue out before turning back around to face the closet.

"I can get them myself" she huffs, before jumping once more to try and reach the blankets.

Before she can try again I hold her waist and reach up to pull the blankets down. She stills, her breath caught in her throat.

She slowly turns around, her cheeks are pink and she's biting the inside of her cheek. "I- um.. thank you for that..uh-"

Her face grows redder for each second we stand there,  and before I can say anything, there's a knock at the door.

"Oh! People!" She says, excitedly grabbing the pile of blankets from my hand and hurrying out the door.
