Nine

Rosalie Williams

"I called uno!" Kk yells.

"No you didn't!" Caroline shouts back.

"Oh my god will you shut up" Paige groans.

"You shut up Paige!"

"Dude no one even heard you say it" Paige says rolling her eyes.

"I heard her" I say quietly.

Everyone's eyes shoot to me. I blush before looking between the two arguing players.

"Oh, well- okay then" Paige shrugs.

The girls mouths drop open, before Caroline coughs.

"Whipped"

Paige smacks her on the back of the head before gathering the rest of the cards and putting them back in the box. "I'm done with this game" she grumbles.

There's a knock at the door, "Pizza! I'll go grab it" I smile.

Standing up I quickly make my way to the door. Outside, is a very uninterested pizza man.

"45.50" he says quietly.

I give an uncomfortable smile before digging into my purse for cash.

"Sorry I guess I should've been more prepared for this" I laugh.

"Whatever lady"

My shoulders sink at the failed attempt of conversation. I huff pulling out my wallet until I still, feeling a light brush against my back.

"Here, now go away" Paige says, handing the man a 50 dollar bill before grabbing the pizza and closing the door.

I spin on my heels, mouth open in shock. "You could've been a little nicer Paige"

She scoffs, "as if I'd be nice to that asshole. He doesn't give a fuck"

"Maybe he was just having a bad night" I say quietly.

"He still should've at least tried to be nicer" she mumbles as she shoves a piece of pizza into her mouth.

"Here" she says passing me a plate with two slices in it.

I smile sweetly, "thank you"

She half smiles before picking up the boxes and bringing them to the hungry girls in the living room.

I grab the paper plates before following after her.

"Pizza" Kk yells grabbing a few slices from the box and putting them on her plate. She wastes so time before taking a very big bite.

"Dude breathe. You're gonna choke" Paige says.

"Shut up" kk responds, although I don't think a few of us understood what she said.

Paige Bueckers

Her giggles fill the room as she watches Kk try to do a cartwheel. Kk fails as falls flat onto her back. "Oh! Are you okay?" Rosalie says kneeling beside her.

"I think I broke my back" she breathes.

Rosalie smiles before sticking out her hand for Kk to stand up. "That was.. definitely something" she laughs.

"Well you do one then!" Kk pouts.

Rosalie smirks before leaning forward and in one quick movement effortlessly stands on both her palms. Kk's mouth drops open. "Whatever" she crosses her arms turning to Caroline and pouts.

"She's bullying me"

Rosalie laughs as she leans back to stand on her feet, re adjusting her sweater that had risen up.

"You asked me to do one!"

"I wouldn't have asked if I knew you could actually do one" she pouts.

"You're being unreasonable" Rosalie crosses her arms.

"Nu uh"

"Yuh huh"

"Nu uh-"

"Omg just stop. Now, who wants to watch a movie" Nika asks.

"I know I do" Paige breathes. I gently hit her arms before smiling, shaking my head as I go to fill up my drink.

Walking back into the living room I scan for open seats. "Here, come sit" kk gestures moving over to make more space.

Sitting down I'm left squeezed in between Kk and Paige, who lifts her stuck arm from between us and puts it behind my head on top of the couch.

I still, my breath caught in my throat as I try not to move. She leans down, "relax a bit sunshine, here take some blanket you look freezing cold" she chuckles before draping the large warm blanket over our laps.

"Thanks Paige" my body relaxed slightly, but still keeping space between the both of us not wanting her to be uncomfortable.

"Keep it PG under that blanket!" Kk laughs.

My cheeks flush, I slide the blanket down my legs nervously. "Oh shut up Kk" Paige rolls her eyes. Her arm reaches over my body grabbing the blanket and pulling it back up. "Sorry" I whisper.

"For what? You didn't do anything"

I shrug my shoulders leaning back into the couch accidentally bumping into her arm. I quickly lean forward.

I feel her eyes glance at me. Her arm moves to rest on the back of my shoulders and tugs me back to rest against the couch.

"Relax" she whispers, turning back to the movie.

I try, but her large warm hand resting on my shoulder is just a tad distracting.

Hey guys

I know I've been absent for a while but I just wasn't sure what to write. Schools been pretty hectic and this books just not doing as well as I would hope. I'm still going to do my best to keep putting out chapters for those who enjoy it.
