[Tw: SA & suicide attempt]

They both decided to celebrate their 16th birthday with some friends. Surprisingly their parents even said yes to that idea,so they left for the weekend leaving the twins alone with some of their closer friends.

Since Lilith and Jules friend group were rather different they assigned each other different room to have their peace from each other (especially bc at that time they tended to fight rather often). That worked rather well,Jules got the living room and Lilith took their parents bedroom.

Jules had one particular friend in his group always showed a small interest in Lilith but Jules mostly always ignored that,because he didn't really care anyway. He had once told lilith but she dismissed it and said she had no interest in that boy,which Jules again told the friend. So that discussion was done,right?

Nope.  At some point during the night said friend excused himself from the group and did in fact not come back for a rather long while. Normally Jules would've probably found it suspicious but his drunk mind just assumed that he had went to Lilith and her friends. Or perhaps a long ass smoke break? Who knew. Who cared? No one.

However he came back and looking back at it he had a idiotic grin on his face, almost proud of something as if he just did something great.
After that night Lilith began behaving weird. She was always rather outgoing,loved to talk about everything that was on her mind but suddenly she was quiet. Not completely,but it felt like the once so bright spark had now fully left her. She would lock herself in her and Jules room for hours but Jules didn't really ask why. He was never really emphatic, couldn't grasp the concept of human emotion,it was strange for him to show care towards someone. It felt almost unnatural for him. So he didn't bother asking

Until that one day where he found her in the bathroom after her suicide attempt. He just stood there staring at his bleeding and passed out twin,for like a minute before screaming for his parents who then brought her to the hospital.

She did survive obviously. Her parents didn't really care. Didn't even visit. They were just angry at her. Angry for doing such a disgusting thing. That left Lilith with Jules who would always visit her until she was better. He even brought her flowers once. After that Lilith stopped talking completely. But after a lot of urging from Jules (and perhaps a little yelling at her) she finally wrote down why she did that. She explained that that night she had been in their bedroom to get something when that friend of Jules came in and had sexually assaulted her. Jules wasn't really sure what to do after she told him. He was livid to say the very least. At his friend but also somewhat at Lilith? Probably because she didn't tell him. Because she just kept quiet. So he ended up just holding her in his arms while she sobbed quietly.

He ended up beating that friend up. All that led to him having a very deep hatred towards all abusers. Which is ironic considering he was about to turn into one himself.
