Cedric and Jules

Jules also has son that is 5 years old which name is Cedric. Cedric only exist bc during his teen years when Jules noticed he isn't into women he got so terrified of the thought of being gay that he started sleeping around with women, trying to somehow find the right one that would make him feel 'normal'. But that feeling never came. No matter how many woman he had laying under him it always felt wrong. It always made him want to throw up,to rib his skin off,to refuse even touching another female person. And then one got pregnant. Jules didn't even know what to say. He wanted nothing to do with that woman and definitely he didn't want a goddamn child. He immediately proposed an abortion,said he'd pay.

But she refused. She said she would raise the kid, didn't expect him to be involved or anything. His idea was to leave which he ultimately did. But something in him felt bad. He felt to much like his own dad. So he somehow stuck around. He occasionally has Cedric at his place but doesn't know how to handle the kid. Cedric is an energetic person and basically always causes trouble everywhere,which mostly just overhelmes Jules so he often leaves him with Lilith.

Cedric likes his dad a lot and looks up to him, trying to do everything like Jules. Which Jules isn't quite a fan of. He doesn't want Cedric to turn out like him so his demeanor is completely different around Cedric. Hes way nicer,way softer and way more understanding with this kid. Even if it's mainly forced. So Cedric is basically completely oblivious to Jules true demeanour and just believes his dad is some cool dude that lets basically everything slide. Jules still avoids Cedric as good as he can by often leaving Cedric with Lilith. Lilith likes Cedric even tho she's often a little overwhelmed with him. But they get a long pretty well,but Cedric tends to be more whiny when around Lilith because Lilith is stricter than Jules and won't allow Cedric everything he wants to do.

Jules and Cedric's mom actually get along pretty well. They aren't friends or anything but if they see each other they can have a decent talk or even drink a coffee together. Jules never lashed out at her or abused her which even surprises him somehow. She still holds a small grudge against him because he wanted her to abort Cedric at the beginning and she sometimes brings the topic up but Jules dismisses it mostly and reminds her that he was 19 at that time and that he's not really fit for a kid still. Despite his actual nature Jules wants Cedric to have a good childhood and to give him a life that Jules could never have. So he tries his best with Cedric. Which is also the main reason why he holds a relatively good relationship to his mother,he doesn't want Cedric to grow up with parents that hate eachother or he never wants Cedric to feel like his own father can't stand him. Even tho jules often can't even look at Cedric because he reminds him off the mistakes Jules made and Jules can't stand being imperfect or admitting he ever did mistakes.

Committing to anything that is as consistent as a child deeply terrified Jules even if he'd never admit to it,not wanting to show that he actually has fears and things that make him want to just genuinely run. Responsibility is something he always had to take care upon while still living with his parents that's why now he started to resent responsibility finding it to annoying and angering. So he'll always try and run from all sort responsibility or put it onto someone else. Just so he doesn't have to face things he doesn't like.
