The text flashed across Allison's screen. I turned the speaker off and we both slammed down a shot before exiting the apartment and hopping in JJ's truck. I shot Allison a glare as she butted in front of me and got into the back seat, forcing me to sit up front as a golf bag took up the rest of the back seat.

"Sorry," JJ grumbled as he sheepishly pushed at the clubs from the front seat. I climbed into the passenger seat, and could hear a faint giggle from Allison indicating that she was proud of her little scheme.

"So, how was y'all's day?" JJ asked awkwardly, clearing his throat. I grimaced slightly as the attempt at small talk. I absolutely despised it. We both mumbled back "good", and the truck fell silent. JJ turned the radio up to fill the silence.

After an excruciating five minutes that felt like five years, we reached the frat house. JJ had to parallel park his truck on the street, and I must admit, the ease at which he was able to whip his truck seamlessly into the spot without hitting the car in front of him or behind him was rather attractive.

Allison and I hopped out of the truck and followed JJ into the backyard to get to the back door.

"STOP!"

A female voice rang out suddenly, and Allison and I froze in our tracks.

"TURN!"

We slowly turned around to find Caroline standing before us, arms crossed, glaring. She looked us up and down, eyes fixing on the red "P"'s on our chests. A satisfied smirk etched itself across her face, and she nodded at us.

"Good. You two are safe. Enjoy your night."

With that, she spun on her heel and walked away towards the front yard.

"What was that about?" I asked Allison, looking at her confused and intimidated.

Allison pursed her lips. "Look," she said, gesturing with her chin and crossing her arms.

I glanced into the direction that she had pointed, and saw a group of our pledge sisters huddled in the corner of the yard, some crying. As I surveyed the group, I realized that not one of the pledges in that group had on the shirt that had been given to us. I quickly put the pieces together, and it dawned on me that the girls in the group had not been allowed into the party because they wore something other than the humiliating red "P" shirt.

"Cmon," Allison said, pulling on my arm. I shook my head as if to physically clear my head, and followed her down the steps into the basement.

I immediately looked around for JJ, but he was nowhere to be found. I shrugged, and made my way over to the pong table.

"We're next!" Allison announced, much to my horror. The table had been surrounded by brothers, and we had been the only two sisters brave enough to approach.

"Dude! I just wanted to WATCH!" I gritted out, eyes widening to emphasize how mortified I was.

"Oh well," she shrugged.

"Oh well? We're gonna die. We're gonna lose so bad."

Allison shrugged again and stepped forward as the ball from the current match sank into the winning cup. She fished it out herself, and shooed away the losing team. She stood to take their place, waving me over impatiently.

As I shuffled over to stand next to Allison, it dawned on me why I couldn't find JJ.

I couldn't find him because he was playing pong.

JJ sank the winning shot.

JJ won pong.

JJ is now playing ME at pong.
