The next day was Saturday, meaning that Gamma Lambda Phi threw huge parties during the day called "darties". It was basically an excuse to day drink before the party that they threw that night. Of course, Allison and I were going.

I rolled out of bed more hungover than I had been in a very long time, and threw myself into the shower. Last night was rough. We lost our game of pong after the one with JJ and Carson, and afterwards we went to play Stack Cup with them. As I showered I realized that I had basically spent all night with JJ, and never not one time did we discuss The Couch Incident. I guess maybe it was because Carson and Allison were there too.

I get dressed for the party, grab a pair of sunglasses, and I'm out the door to go to Allison's to pregame the darty.

"Okay, so we're borging", Allison stated as i entered her apartment. I had already gotten a fifth of my usual pink lemonade vodka, as she had texted me while i was on the way over to grab one. Allison hands me an empty water jug, and instructs me to pour half of it out and fill the rest with the vodka. She then added a few lemonade flavored packets to the jug, shook it around, and held it out for me to take. I had the feeling I was going to be blacked out by the end of the day.

Fortunately, Allison's apartment complex was within walking distance of the house where the party was, so we were able to make our way over without having to pay for an Uber. As we opened the gate to the back yard, we were immediately greeted with the sight of a large slip and slide, and several shirtless brothers throwing themselves down it. Music blared from a massive speaker in the corner of the yard, and people were crowded around a large keg in the center of the yard. I raised my jug to my lips and took a swig, wincing at the slight taste of alcohol. For the most part, Allison's concoction was pretty good, save for the biting aftertaste of the liquor.

"Hey!" I heard someone call out, and I turned to see JJ bounding towards me. I smiled at him, and took note of the water jug in his hand.

"Looks like we're both borging today, that's funny," JJ noted, gesturing to my jug full of pink liquid with his own jug full of red liquid. I smiled at him, and raised the jug in a "cheers" motion. We banged them together and each took a sip.

"We should trade," I suggested, and JJ obliged. I had to say, my borg tasted much better than his did.

"Aw, is this what I think it is?" he whined after tasting the mixture. I giggled as he realized it was the same type of liquor that we had shared the first night we met. Turns out, he hates it more than any other liquor on the planet, but unfortunately for him its my favorite.

"So, are you coming out tonight?" he asked. I shrugged at him, and explained that my appearance at the party tonight depended on how drunk I got during the darty. After a bit of small talk, he was pulled away by another brother to play a round of beer dye.

As he walked away, Allison smirked at me and raised her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes at her and began to walk over to the fire pit in the corner of the yard where a massive bonfire was going.

"So, you keeping JJ around?", she asked, sipping her drink jug. I shrugged at her, and took a drink of my own. I wanted JJ. I realized it last night. I liked him a lot, and even if we were nothing more than just friends with benefits, I still wanted to be around him. Friends with benefits were better than nothing.

As I mulled the thought of JJ over, I realized that I was on a very dangerous path. This type of mindset had caused me to get hurt in the past, but i didn't care. I could feel myself falling for JJ hard and fast, and I knew I was in trouble.
