After the testing– I mean... the battle with the bandits, me and Claire returned back home to once again either train or do something else. 

I was quite happy with this little excursion. I managed to improve my <<Reconstruction>> and I've got a pretty good grasp of Blightedness now, not that I would ever use a skill like that. 

But while we're on that note, I must say it is quite impressive how much stronger I've gotten. Not just me, but Claire too. Especially Claire. Her growth rate is astounding! It makes me feel so giddy! 

I'm glad I decided to suppress myself. Not only is it like a permanent 24/7 training regime, but I can also have more fun. 

I used a lock seal on myself to reduce my overall magic usage to a mere 1/10th of its original power, so I can't tap into all of my power right now. I also go out of my way to suppress my Mana every now and then, allowing me to become even better at it. Not only will this help me with the people around me and blending in, but it also helps as a good way to train. 

Oh! And another thing. I recently became "enlightened". That's what the Voice Of The World said, but I didn't feel like any different not did I feel like I gained enlightenment. I didn't quite understand it at first, but it turns out the word "enlightened" is actually used to explain a human evolutionary path. 

Supposedly, the VOTW explained that to humans, it is considered "evolving the right way"., implying that there are also other ways for me to evolve but I chose the correct path ? I'm not too sure about it myself. 

But it seems I am now a demi-spiritual life-form, no longer a regular human.

Enlightenment typically occurs as a result of long and arduous cultivation that ends with the person in question breaking through a mental barrier and becoming a Demi-Spiritual Life-form allowing them to think with their spiritual body and partially sublimating their flesh to a higher existence.

Other, more exotic ways to achieve Enlightenment include sublimating the body and soul into a higher state using special skills and extensively researching magic and magic tools for a very long time.

Enlightened individuals, regardless of race, enjoy high tolerance and capacity towards magicules, large mana reserves, and high precision with Magic. Their Demi-Spiritual nature also provides them with a long lifespan along with superior physical and mental capabilities. All Enlightened individuals are incredibly powerful, but their strength can vary greatly from person to person. 

The demi-spiritual longevity along with my own semi-immortality will give me a very, very long lifespan in comparison to normal humans, which is good, as that means I can gain a lot more power. 

It also means, I have no way of gauging my own power anymore as I have yet to meet someone like me and I probably won't, not in a lesser world like this. But I can still hope can't I ? 

Recently I've noticed how the magic beasts that feed off natural mana and other magic beasts and humans/elves/theriantropes, have all gotten stronger. 

This would imply they have been getting a rich supply of fresh and pure magicules, considering how strong they've gotten. 

The only explanation is myself. Because this forest is essentially my playground, I shoot it up with so much magic that over the years, the monsters that live in it have begun feeding on it and even the trees and plants feed on that magic now. 

I don't know how to feel about that one, but I can't help but be excited about the possibilities that await me in the near future. 

In any case, I carried Claire back home. Yes, carried.
