Living in California has its perks, there are tons of job opportunities for performers and the weather is usually beautiful. But then there are days like today where it's over 100 degrees out and I get to watch everyone suffer. Jade, Cat, and I made our way to Beck's table where everyone seemed to be dying. When I sat next to Beck, I gave him a long hard look at what he was wearing...why was he wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt?
Cat cheerily greeted everyone, while Jade demanded Robbie's water. While Jade split Robbie's with me, Tori had the usual empty-headed look on her face and began to stare at Jade and I.
"You guys aren't sweating?"
"Uh huh?"
I took one look at her and replied, "You sure as hell are."
She then proceeded to grope us with her clammy hands.
Jade asked, "Having fun there?"
"How can you two not be sweating?"
Jade told her she didn't sweat, while I responded.
"I'm half Cuban, I spend my summers on a hot-ass island and my dad didn't raise a whiner like some people."
Robbie and Beck agreed with us saying how we never sweat.
"What do you mean they never sweat?"
"Sweating is gross, so I don't do it."
"So what? You two are cold-blooded?"
Rex decided to open his big mouth with a sarcastic reply about us being cold-blooded. Honestly, I wish the heat would melt his plastic ass, and we could finally be done with him. Jade took Tori's sunblock and shot it in Rex's face as he screamed.
"Ahhh! That witch got sunscreen in my eyes! Help me, Rob!"
"It's okay, don't fret! There you go."
As Robbie cleaned Rex's face, we all looked at him with questioning looks. I mean, you'd think Tori would be used to the sight of white shit being squirted on someone's face with the way she talks about her dating history. Andre walked on over to our table standing behind me with a handful of cash.
"What's up amigos? Amigirls? Gorgeous?"
Even after everything that happened with Danny, Andre continues to hit on me incessantly and at this point, it's become rather sad that he thinks he still has a chance.
I asked, "What's all that money for?"
"Me. I set up a kiddie pool over there and I'm charging 5 bucks for 5 minutes. Sinjinn, you got three more minutes!"
Over in the kitty pool was a very pasty, scrawny Sinjinn splashing about.
"Okay!"
Andre sat next to me, while we watched Sinjinn continue to play around. Honestly, I'm not surprised he would play with himself in public in any form.
Cat with her high intelligence decided to ask, "Is it true that sweat and pee, are like, cousins?"
"What now?"
Beck asked, "Man, how long is this heat wave going to last?"
Tori answered saying it was going to last till Tuesday, which was about 5 days from now. As much as I don't mind the heat, my tattoos cannot be in this much sunshine for so long.
Robbie was looking on his Pearpad, "It's up to 106 in the Valley."
This resulted in us giving a collective groan when Beck asked to check Venice Beach.
"Ummmm Venice is....only 91 degrees."
Tori cried out, "Let's go to Venice!"
"You guys want to?"
I asked Beck, "You want to blow off school?"
Rex responded, "I can get with that."
"I meant Saturday, I can borrow my Uncle's pickup, hook it up to my RV and we can all head to the beach."
While we all agreed with his plan, I sensed a disturbance in the force when Trina came up behind us.
"The beach? I'm so in!"
We all began to protest when she took off and all you could hear was Jade yelling, "No one likes you!."
When we realized we were stuck with the herpes-like Trina, Tori looked over at the kiddie pool and noticed Sinjinn was face down. While she ran over to check on him, Andre threw his arm around me with a smile.
"Well tiny dancer, when we get to the beach I can help you with the sunscreen if you want?"
If I were an anime character, I would have a literal vein popping from my forehead. I took the bottle of sunscreen and shot it in his face as he yelled out.
"Need any more?"
"I'm good..."

It's been a year since I updated! I don't see this chapter as my best work due to how rusty I am, but let me know what you think.
