"You need all of this?" Gojo's bright blue eyes widened at the list.

Kosuke shrugged. "I agree, seems like overkill."

Gojo turned the list over, glad to see that nothing was written on the back. When it came to Tsumiki and Megumi they hadn't said anything about needing all of this, but Gojo had also just given them money and left it at that. No matter how much Kosuke could take care of herself, the truth kept revealing itself, kids were hard work.

"This list isn't even what I've already bought you from the school." Money was far from the problem, the school just seemed to be asking for too much.

"I'm sorry. I'm fine with going to my old school." Kosuke said in a calming voice, trying to ease the annoyance Gojo was clearly feeling.

"At a place you were bullied? No way."

"It must just be a private school thing." Kosuke reached her hand out, gesturing to the list, Gojo gave it to her. "These new friends you want me to be friends with, are they my age?"

"Yeah, the boy is. The girl is a year older."

"When am I going to meet them?"

Gojo shrugged. "Tomorrow we're going to do some jujutsu training, so probably after that."

Kosuke nodded her head. She put the list on the counter and started to walk back to her room. Gojo watched her go and sighed. It had been almost a week since the dinner when he finally decided to buck up and take care of Kosuke. It was still a tad awkward between the two, but Gojo had found a work around, something they could both do together.

"Kosuke, do you want to watch your show?"

She stopped. Her hand had been reaching out towards her door handle, but she retracted it back to her side. "Pokémon?"

Gojo nodded.

Kosuke walked over to the couch with a small smile. She was hesitant at first to watch tv, remembering what her parents had warned her about, but when Gojo turned on this cartoon she couldn't help but fall in love with it.

Gojo started the show and sat on the other end of the couch. Kosuke watched the show but turned to look at him during the commercial break. "Satoru-sama."

"Hm?"

"When do I start at my new school?"

"In a couple of days. Why?"

She played with the ends of her hair, twisting the frayed ends. "How do I make friends?"

Gojo laughed. "What a silly question. It's not that hard, Kosuke. Just be friendly and make jokes."

"I do try to be friendly, but people still seem to...avoid me." Kosuke wasn't sure why she was saying so much, maybe she just needed to get it off her chest.

"Don't worry about it, this school is only temporary. You only have a couple years until you start at Jujutsu High, and before that you'll have Megumi and Tsumiki."

Kosuke nodded. She had more than eight years to go before she would start at Jujutsu High. Not that she even really wanted to go. But she refused to make any presumptions until she at least tried Jujutsu.

Kosuke and Gojo walked next to each other through the halls of Jujutsu High. Gojo thought it was best that they practice jujutsu somewhere else. He wasn't sure if her technique was going to be damaging, like the punch she had thrown at her classmate. Not to mention her boundless cursed energy.
