How do I escape this cage?
They want me to be full of light,
Yet I am trapped in a cage
Under everyone’s scrutinizing gaze
Eminently hideous and dreadful.I’m free at dawn and night,
Where there’s no one
To judge me anymore. They act kind while I’m caged,
But I lack the means
To break free.Yearning for enlightenment,
I must shatter this cage
With words and screams. In the absence of light, in the darkness,
Shielded by the awful souls,
None can touch or smell me.I wish there were no light
To surround me, leaving me alone.
The intimacy of darkness within
Is far better than enduring cruelty.
