Dogday: "Hey guys! Sorry I'm so late, I was at a meeting!"

He dropped his bag pack and jumped onto Catnaps beanbag.

Catnap wrapped his arms around Dogday and licked his fluffy cheek.

They were so relieved to finally be together again. The other Critters thought it was really sweet.

Catnap: "I missed you."

Dogday sat back on Catnaps lap in shock, he was so happy to hear Catnaps voice.

Dogday: "I missed you too, Angel!"

Bobby shuffled down the sofa closer to Dogday. "How was your meeting, Dogday?"

Dogday tickled Catnaps chin playfully before turning to the Critters.

Dogday: "Oh, boring as usual. Just protocol stuff.. They actually spoke about Catnap through most of it."

He turned his attention back to Catnap who had buried his head in Dogdays fluffy chest, purring uncontrollably.

The Critters started to ask more questions.

Crafty: "Huh, what were they saying?"

Bubba: "Did they happen to mention his latest surgery by any chance?"

Picky: "They better have given a god damn apology! I'm still so mad about that!"

Dayday quickly interrupted them.
"They asked me how he was getting on. They said they are happy with how he is settling in. Not much else really."

Dogdays pov: No way I'm telling them everything.. I'll speak to Catnap about it later.

Catnap was very curious to get the details. He stood up and tugged on Dogdays arm hinting that he wanted to go.

Dogday squeezed his paw and gave him a subtle nod before turning to the Critters. "Sorry I missed arts and crafts night, Crafty."

Crafty: "It's okay Dogday! I'm sure you'll make it next week! Are you guys leaving?"

Dogday awkward stood up and they slowly backed away to the door.

Dogday: "Em, yeah about that. We uh, we have some stuff to do before Catnaps shift."

Kickin: "Stuff huh? Sounds suss to me!"

Hoppy burst out laughing.
"Kickin! Leave them alone!"

Catnap waved at the Critters.
"Night guys."

They were all taken back by Catnaps voice. Even Dogday.

He was starting to talk a lot more and they were glad to hear it.
