Bruce stood awkwardly near the stairs, a cup of coke in hand. His house was packed, and he didn't know where to go or what to do with himself. Even in his own house, he felt uncomfortable. Party's were really not his scene. He also didn't understand how a party that was 'invite only' could possibly be so busy. Even with the vast number of people, he couldn't find anyone he knew. He looked around for Vance for at least 15 minutes but couldn't see him. He finally decided he was going to try and find him. Whilst walking, he accidentally bumped into someone, spilling his drink on the floor.

"Oh shit. Sorry." He looked up to see who it was, thankfull it was only Finney and not some random drunk senior. "Oh hey." He smiled brightly.

"Hi Bruce. Thanks for getting me an invite." Bruce's furrowed his eyebrows. Was Finney that dumb?

"I didn't get you in. Robin did." He watched as Finney's cheeks flushed, and his eyes grew wide.

"Is he here?" He asked worriedly. Looking down at the clothes he was wearing.

"Is who here?" Robin spoke from behind them, like clockwork. Bruce's stomach twists and turns as soon as he lays eyes on Vance. He didn't understand why. They talked all the time now, but still, every time, he gets that feeling. He always discarded it as nerves, but deep down, he knew it was something else.

"Hey Vance!" Bruce greeted, his voice coming out a little higher than he wanted. "Hey, Robin. Finney was just asking bout ya'." Finney quickly punched Bruce's arm hard.

"Shut up, man!" He attempted to whisper shout, getting embarrassed quickly.

"Well, I'm here." Robin laughed slightly. "Do you...wanna get some drinks with me-If you drink, that is?" He asked with a charming smile.

"Uh, yeah. Totally." Finney and Robin quickly go, leaving Vance and Bruce alone.

"Gosh, when are they going to admit they like each other?" Bruce huffed, causing Vance to laugh.

"Tell me about it. If I hear another 'is he looking at me?' I swear my brain is going to explode." They both laugh. At least Bruce wasn't the only one who had to put up with it. "Where's Kenji at?" Vance asked curiously. He found it weird that it was his own party, yet he was nowhere to be seen.

"In his bedroom. With Kayla." Vance made an o shape with his mouth, and his ears turned red. He wished he had never asked.

"I think I'm going to get a drink. Want anything?" Vance offered. He wanted to drink a lot tonight.

"Nah. I'm not drinking."

"What! It's a party! You have to drink." Vance's smile instantly drops as he sees Roxy approaching. "What do you want." She had a sad, vulnerable look in her eyes. It almost made Bruce feel bad for her, and he didn't even know her or her situation.

"Please, Vance. We need to talk. It's serious." Her voice broke, a single tear falling down her face. Vance crossed his arms.

"Fine. We talk. And then you go." Bruce wondered why he seemed so angry. He remembered seeing them arguing the other day, back at the bar. Maybe it was that. Roxy turned to Bruce, a sad smile on her face.

"I'm sorry for pulling Vance away from your conversation. I promise I won't be too long." Bruce nodded. He didn't really know what to say. He watched as they both left, and he went to go find someone he could talk to.

A girl bumped into him, and she started to smile. "I'm sorry." She took a sip from her drink. She was obviously drunk. Bruce could practically smell the alcohol off her.

"Don't worry about it." Bruce looked around, hoping to see Finney or Robin or literally anyone else. He didn't like speaking to people he didn't know well.
