Shinobu Kocho
The door creaked open and I blinked, waking up from my zombie-like trance. Giyu was home. I sat up frantically, getting up to greet him. His face was cold and solemn.
"Giyu!" I mumbled, yawning. "You're back." Why was he back so late?
Giyu nodded. He closed the door quietly and then grabbed me by the shoulders. Damn, I was not going to be able to fall asleep soon after that.
"There's something wrong with Tsutako." Giyu said. He looked at me desperately. "I know it sounds crazy, but-"
I held up my hand. "Kanao and Kanae are asleep. Don't worry I believe you, but it's 1 in the morning, I wanna sleep."
Giyu paused his sentence, and then nodded.
"'Kay." He said, putting away his shoes and walking slowly down the hallway to his room. I walked back to my original spot and laid on the couch, too tired to actually walk back into my room. There I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the couch cushion.

Waking up, I found myself in my room-wait, the fuck?
I was clearly on the couch! Who moved me? Getting up, I found Giyu's phone on my nightstand. Oh, so my man carried me to my room?
There, a note said "don't sleep on the couch, you'll get a cold".
Maybe I was kind of delusional, but I'm sure he likes me.
I got up and walked out of my room, where Kanao and Kanae were making breakfast.
"Rise and shine sis. It's 12:11." Kanae said cheerfully. "Were you that worried about Giyu that you stayed up that late?"
I shrugged, yawning.
"Go wake him up, before he undos all the progress for him getting rid of jet lag." Kanae said, urging me and waving her hand, gesturing for me to go get him. Ughhhhhhh, I JUST sat down, can't I have a break?
I did kinda wonder what Giyu looks like sleeping though...
I got up and walked to his room. There I cautiously opened the door and found Giyu lying half naked in bed (thankfully the upper half was the part naked).
"WAKE UPPPPP!" I screeched. He didn't wake up. Like, at all. He was dead asleep like roadkill (as you can tell, I am not very talented with metaphors and similes). Thinking, I remembered something and tried a different approach
"I HAVE YOUR PHONE!" I yelled. He shot up, waking up faster than a coke with mentos.
"Whazawhat." He mumbled. I smiled, proud of myself for using the gen z method.
"Good morning hot stuff. C'mon, lunch is waiting." I said, walking back to the dining room. Kanae was snickering. Ughhhhhh. Why did she have to hear that?
A moment later, Giyu walked out, not half naked any longer (dang it-). He sat down quietly and ate his lunch/breakfast silently.
"We're heading out! Bye bye Shinobu! Have fun with Giyu!" Kanae said cheerfully, getting up as soon as Giyu sat down. She grabbed Kanao by the hand, and dragged her out the door. Wait what?!
Awkward silence fell over. Giyu looked up.
"Um...they're gone?" He said in a questioning tone.
"It looks pretty clear they are." I muttered. It was Kanao's turn to do the dishes today! How could she ditch all the dishes just like that?!
I looked at Giyu eating (well, stared). God, he eats so normally. I haven't seen that in a long time (I'm talking about you Rengoku).
What if I took him out?
"Do you wanna go on a date?" I blurted out. Wait what?
Shit, did I really just say that?
Did my mom drop me as a child or was my brain just incapable of filtering!?
Arghhhhh!!!
He looked up, finally letting his neck actually move from the stiff position it was in. His face looked like it was about to cry from relief.
"Like...you're asking me out?" Giyu said.
"Yes..." I mumbled nervously. Shitshitshitshit
"Really!? Oh thank god! You asked me! Now I don't have to ask you! Thank you Shinobu!" He suddenly started laughing, which totally caught ME off guard.
"Wait, were you going to ask me?" I said, confused. He nodded with a relieved expression on his face.
"Wait...so I asked first, so I get to take you on a date?" I asked. My brain went into a frenzy, and I knew exactly where I wanted to go.
"Um, I'll pay." Giyu muttered shyly. Damn, when was he such a golden retriever?
"Don't worry about it." I said, waving off his attempt at pulling out his credit card (he's going to need it later when I go shopping).
After a brief moment of silence, I said, "Welp, my sisters are gone. Wanna leave the dishes for them to do and go on a date?"
Giyu shrugged. "Sure. I don't want to do the dishes either."
"I'll drive!" I said, quickly grabbing the keys to my car and getting my shoes and wallet.
"You're driving and paying? What am I, a douche?" Giyu grumbled, and I patted him on the head.
"Don't worry. You'll be paying me back." I winked at him, and Giyu opened the apartment door for me. After locking it, we went to my (very beaten car).
"I-I'll open the car door!" Giyu exclaimed. He ran ahead, grabbing the door and opening it for me. Getting in, I opened up the directions and handed my phone to Giyu.
"This is the best place I've ever been to." I said, smiling innocently as I started the engine. Giyu, sitting in shotgun, looked at the place and looked back up at me.
"Seriously...Dick's Pizza? Out of anywhere?"
"It has good pizza!"
