"I need to get away, bring me to stillness." Helaena whispered.

"Another dream... I know it doesnt feel like it right now but you have a gift, a long upheld tradition of targaryen divination. A magnificent power to see beyond." Scott remarked.

"I would just like peace." Helaena countered. "Quiet, silence."

"When you decide to fully embrace these power you can use them for whatever ends you wish... dont you think? You are letting your dreams control you but if you could learn to control them."

"And you forget another."

"Helaena?" Rhaenyra countered. "She does not ride. She has no taste for it."

"She may yet be compelled." Corlys added. "And her dragon..."

"Dreamfyre, hatched when the Conqueror was king. She is formidable. Still, Helaena is no warrior." Rhaenyra assured.

"Aemond thought himself invincible. He has now discovered he is not. He'll be angry, desperate. He will not stop at burning Sharp Point, and he will not be denied." Corlys remarked.

"You speak truly... though I wish it was not so."

"Why dont you ride?"

"I used to." Helaena answered. "I love my dragon, she is beautiful and elegant but... when I realized that learning to ride and fly meant training Dreamfyre to get ready for war, it lost some of the magic." Helaena admitted.

"You need not fight in this war." Scott assured. "No matter what Aemond or anyone says. It is your life. Your choice."

"It is never a woman's choice." Helaena corrected. "It is never just my life. Women are the whims of their husbands."

"Your husband isnt in any state to be making orders of you." Scott countered.

"Lets go see her." Helaena agreed. Scott nodded following her out.

"I always felt like once i harnessed my visions... dreamfyre was always part of it." Helaena remarked touching her glimmering scales. "Like if i learned to control and... face my demons as I have been trying to with Aemond. Showing him what I saw, his fate. Showing daemon as well for that matter." Helaena shook her head, Scott stepped closer. "That maybe I wouldnt need dreamfyre as much, but I will always need her."

"Your dreams and... dreamfyre." Scott realized. She nodded. "She came to me when I first started having visions." Helaena agreed. "It was as if she knew, I had this ability and we were one in the same."

"Thats beautiful." Scott agreed touching her back she leaned back into his touch.

"Sometimes when I dream... it was like she was talking to me. I could understand her and she I." Helaena remarked. Scott looked to dreamfyre as she stared down at them as if she really could understand common tongue.

"Like cats and dogs," Scott offered. "I used to have a cat, well it wasnt mine, I stole it but I assure you that cat had a better home with me than his previous owner." Scott added. "Cat understood me."

"What was his name?"

"Cat. I could never decide." Scott admitted, Helaena chuckled turning to face him and Dreamfyre lay back down closing her eyes.

"Dreamfyre likes you." Helaena decided. "She is never this calm when Aemond or Aegon are here."

"Well I think she is feeding off you." Scott realized kissing her. "She knows I make you feel safe."

"You do." She confirmed.

"I have been considering Aemonds demands."

"No." Scott corrected.

"I feel like I need to do something. Dreamfyre and me are apart of this but I can't figure out how yet."

"You cannot." Scott demanded "You cannot go into battle, you have... you just can't." Scott begged holding onto her.

"Why?" Helaena countered

"If you die all is lost. I only wish to fight for you. I-" Scott relaxed as she hugged him hiding her face in his chest. "If the world was ending, I'd want to be right next to you. If the party was over in our time on earth was through... I would want to be right here like this protecting you. Let me protect you, I can't do that if you are flying away."

"I'm going out to kill Daemon." Aemond remarked finding them in helaenas chambers that night, Maelor tossing blocks around and Jaehaera chasing after them trying to make her castle.

"Good luck." Helaena answered looking up from her tea.

"I am going to prove you wrong."

"Good luck with that." helaena agreed.  Aemond took a step forward but Scott cleared his throat.  "I wouldnt do that, Aemond." Helaena agreed. "Scott is very protective of me."

"Scott now is it?" Aemond challenged.

"Go fuck a whore, Aemond. Sylvie misses your little cock." Helaena smirked. Aemond charged only to be thrown to the ground, he landed on his back knocking the breath from his lungs.

"You can leave through the door," Scott offered a knee on his chest. "Or out the window. Your choice."
