Chapter 12: Relax.

A few days later

I was awaken by a couple of knocks at my door, I rubbed my eyes as I was still sleepy before getting up to open it.

Mina: What do you want?

Ni-ki: That's no way to talk to your future husband.

He said with a smirk on his face, looking down at me.

Mina: Husband my ass, like I asked, what do you want?

Ni-ki: I wanted to talk to you.

I heaved a sigh as I looked at the ground. Not this again.

Mina: You have 5 minutes.

I said as I pulled the door open a bit more, allowing him through.

Ni-ki: Woah, your room's cute, suits you, cutie.

He said as he winked at me. Oh lord. I rolled my eyes at him before replying.

Mina: Yeah well there's still stuff I wanted to put up but obviously we're not here for long.

Ni-ki: Yeah about that, let's sit down first.

He said, gesturing to the bed. We both took a seat on it, opposite each other. I was leaning against my bed frame, as I yawned, still exhausted.

Ni-ki: Listen, I came here to tell you that my mum has decided that your family should live here. They wanted everyone's opinions but you weren't downstairs, so I came up to ask you about it, as I know you didn't want to go down.

Mina: I'm fine with it, see now I can actually decorate this room properly.

I smiled and so did he.

Looking at each other, eyes locked in his, his in mine. He inched closer to me, barely leaving any room before slowly parting his lips.

Ni-ki: Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?

Mina: Some people have.

Ni-ki: They're right. Your lips.. they're perfect, perfect for me.

Leaning his head close to mine, slightly tilting it, I close my eyes knowing what was about to happen.

Slowly feeling his lips on mine, I parted my lips and so did he, allowing his lips to intertwined with mine. But before we could go further, I pulled away.

Mina: What about Aerum? I can't do this to her.

Ni-ki: For once think about yourself Mina, put yourself first, you know you want this. Be selfish. Look, why are you still caring for her even after everything she did to you? Plus, she's starting to like Sunghoon.

Mina: Yeah I figured she did. Maybe you're right, I should be selfish.

He chuckled before pulling me im again for a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck, gripping his hair slowly as he rubbed my back with his hands.

A few more days later

An entire week has gone by without me talking to my siblings or my mother, and it was killing me. Heeseung and Aerum tried speaking to me on the day of the incident but I didn't want to talk and they never tried after that. Mum, well she didn't have to, she was at work majority of the time and when she came back I was already asleep. I only spoke to Ni-ki and his mum.

Aunt Chaeyoung: Guys, you're gonna be late, hurry up and go to school.

All of us stood up, me getting up before the others and made our way to the bus stop. The other 3 were engaging in a conversation, whilst I just walked ahead, instead I was texting Sunoo and Jungwon about us going out after school to a café.
