Chapter 8: Don't ignore me.

I could tell by the look on Ni-ki's face that he was pissed at me sitting next to Sunoo. But why? Sunoo told me that him and Ni-ki are on good terms. Maybe because Sunoo and Jungwon are close, he thinks that I'll get close to Jungwon too.

I brushed it off as our teacher began the lesson.

Lunch came by pretty quick and I was glad as my stomach had rumbled multiple times during our last 2 periods.

Sunoo grabbed my wrist and dashed towards the cafeteria.

Mina: Why are we running?

Sunoo: We need to hurry to get the good food before all the little shits get them.

Thank god we were the first ones there, looking at the food presented in front of us, I was overwhelmed with how much there was, finding it hard to buy one meal.

Sunoo payed for his and looked back at me. The. pointing at the tray filled with tteokbokki, ramen, a Caesar salad, and yakult.

Sunoo: She'll take this one.

I looked at him confused and he just shot me a small smile. I chuckled, what a cutie.

We sat down and dug into our food whilst the cafeteria started to fill up with students.

Mina: This is really good. Back in London, we never had food like this, our meals were just sandwiches.

Sunoo: Really?! I don't know how I'd live just eating sandwiches. Thank god I lived here.

I laughed at him. A figure approached our table, taking a seat next to Sunoo and stuffing a spoonful of Sunoo's food into his mouth.

Sunoo: Jungwon-ah, you should've just asked.

Jungwon: I knew you weren't going to give it to me. A heads up Mina, Sunoo doesn't like sharing, especially when it comes to food.

Mina: How stingy.

I joked.

Sunoo: Me? Stingy? Who bought you the banana milkshake last week? Me.

Jungwon: And I thank you for that.

I chuckled at the two, they were so silly. The sudden thought of Aerum struck, she barely spoke to me ever since we left the car. Yes we did have lessons together yet she chose to say away from me, being glued to Niki and Sunghoon.

Sunoo: Mina, that girl looks a lot like you.

Maria: Oh, that's my sister, Aerum.

Sunoo: Ahh, I was wondering since she was in our lessons but she didn't really interact with you so I didn't want to say anything.

Mina: She's usually so much more shy, usually to herself but today she's been acting different, she's been acting like me.

Jungwon: What do you mean by that?

Mina: It's just i'm the loud one, yet she was the loudest one in classes today, what is going on with her?

Sunoo: I'm sure it's nothing big, maybe she likes Ni-ki.

Heeseung: Nope, she likes Sunghoon.

Heeseung quickly became a part of our conversation, taking a seat next to me. Along with him came his new friend.

The friend had his hair styled with his forehead exposed, his sharp jawline gave him a defined look, his eyes were expressive which somehow drew me in with their intensity.

Mina: She likes him? But I thought she was head over heels for Ni-ki.

Heeseung: That's what I thought too, until this morning where Ni-ki introduced them to each other. She was drooling, making it so obvious she liked him.
