Every Ben Tennyson throughout space and time has had his fate intertwined with that of the Omnitrix, except for one. After fighting alongside his alternate counterparts to defeat Vilgax, Ben decided he'd fight alongside his grandfather by joining th...
I've seen scenes like this in movies and game cutscenes a hundred times. You think your day's going fine—maybe even great—and then, BOOM. Next thing you know, you're yanked into an alley, teleported to another world, or sucked into a UFO by a tractor beam.
If you ask me, Kacchan, Kirishima, and I? We're smack in the middle of that cutscene.
"D-Did you just say abducted?! Like by aliens?! Like actual frickin' aliens?!" Kirishima shouted, clinging to Kacchan and shaking him like a rag doll.
"Oi! Hands off!" Kacchan snapped, shoving him away before turning to me. "So what? They're gonna dissect us or something?"
"I don't know. I hope not," I muttered, just as freaked out. The ship above us kept pulling the pod upward, and I stared at the ceiling. "For all we know, it could be scavengers. Or pirates. Looking for junk... or people to sell."
"Sell?! Who sells people?!" Kirishima asked, horrified.
"Use your head, moron," Kacchan growled. "They could sell us to some gang. Make us work like slaves. It would be worse if we had a girl in here."
I blinked. "Wait... have you been watching isekai, Kacchan?"
"Don't lump me in with you nerds. It's just common sense," he said, rolling his eyes.
Suddenly, the rumbling stopped—and gravity slammed back into us.
"OWW!!!" we all cried as we hit the floor hard. After floating for so long, even sitting up felt like lifting a mountain. I groaned and looked around. The pod's hatch was bent—probably damaged when the ship pulled us in. If we were lucky, that meant we could escape.
I crawled to the hatch and grabbed the latch. "Help me open this!"
Kacchan and Kirishima joined me, and together we pulled with everything we had. The latch snapped, and the hatch burst open—sending us tumbling onto a cold iron floor.
I gasped. Oxygen. I was breathing. That meant we weren't dead. Yet.
"Thanks, guys," I said between breaths.
"No prob, bro," Kirishima replied with a thumbs-up. Kacchan just nodded.
Then we heard it—footsteps. Tapping against the metal floor.
"Move!" I whispered. We scrambled behind a massive tank, hiding behind one of its wheels.
A door slid open. Three figures stepped through.
They wore black jumpsuits. But their faces? Definitely not human.
One was feminine, with cherry-red skin, wings, and glowing red eyes outlined in black. Her yellow horns shimmered with a dark gem. A long tail flicked behind her.
The second wore a helmet shaped like a human head, with spiky ears and three glowing red holes.
The third was massive—light red skin, a spiked head, claws, and eyes like burning coals.
