"Hey bro, what’s up?"
Hardik straddled the bench that Shubman was sitting on while packing his gym bag. He watched as Shubman slowly folded up his belongings and placed them in his bag. His usual spark had been missing for the past few days. Shubman had briefly mentioned what had happened last week at EsselWorld, and even though things hadn’t turned out as he had hoped, Hardik didn’t expect him to still be so upset.
"Nothing really," came the despondent reply.
"Dude, come on," Hardik said, placing his hand on Shubman’s shoulder. "He’ll come around eventually."
Shubman shook his head. "I saw a girl coming out of his apartment this morning when I came back from my run."
Hardik sucked in his bottom lip. It was time for a change in the game plan. "Okay, that’s it. We’re going out tonight."
"I don’t really feel like going anywhere," Shubman said, zipping up his bag.
"Shubman, I’m not going to let you sit at home and wallow in self-pity. Come on! I’ll get a few of the guys, and we’ll drink some beer and talk some crap." Hardik playfully bumped his shoulder against Shubman’s. "Come on. Staying inside isn’t going to make you feel any better." He could see Shubman wavering. "Look, we don’t even have to go far. We’ll hit that bar near your place. What’s it called? The Leopard?"
Shubman nodded. "Yeah."
"Well then that’s settled. Tonight at seven, I’m dragging you out of the house." Hardik stood up and clapped Shubman on the back. "Remember, bro, there are plenty of fish in the sea."
True to his word, Hardik was knocking on Shubman’s door at seven. They decided to walk the short distance to the bar.
"I’m glad you decided to come out," Hardik said, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets to shield himself from the sharp night wind.
"Well, it didn’t seem like I had much of a choice," Shubman replied, buttoning his thick black wool coat up to his neck. "Could’ve picked a warmer night, though."
"Well, maybe if you play your cards right, you might end up with someone to warm you up by the end of the night."
Shubman looked at him suspiciously as Hardik opened the door to The Leopard for him. As soon as he walked in, he saw what Hardik was up to. He had invited Risabh and Shreyas.
"Hi guys!" Hardik greeted with a big smile. "Glad you could make it."
Shubman exchanged pleasantries, noting how Hardik had made sure to sit next to Risabh, so Shubman would end up sitting next to Shreyas.
The night proceeded well enough. Shreyas kept his hand on Shubman’s thigh beneath the table. Occasionally, his fingers would brush over Shubman’s cock, keeping him in a perpetual state of half arousal. Hardik kept smirking at the two of them while Risabh looked around for someone to challenge in a game of darts.
After the waitress cleared away their plates, Risabh found a challenger, and Hardik decided to hit on some woman at the bar, it was just Shubman and Shreyas remaining at the table. Shreyas’s fingers were comfortably curled over Shubman’s hand on his thigh as he ghosted kisses to Shubman’s neck. Shubman tried to carry on a conversation with him, but it was in vain. Shreyas’s touches were just too distracting. Shreyas pried open the collar of Shubman’s shirt and planted a firm kiss on his neck. Shubman was sure Shreyas wanted to sleep with him tonight, and he didn’t have a problem with that.
"You know, there’s this guy who keeps watching us," Shreyas murmured, his lips trailing up the side of Shubman’s neck.
Shubman’s eyes darted around. "Where?"
