For the past week, I’ve been drowning in confusion, guilt, and regret. My mind is a tangled mess, constantly at war with my heart. But I know I need to make a decision, one way or another. Ever since he rejected our business proposal, I can’t shake the chaos in my thoughts. If I were in his place, I would have done the same. Maybe even worse, maybe I would have tried to hurt him like I once did.
But he didn’t. And that’s what hurts the most. It feels like he genuinely doesn’t care about me anymore. He’s changed. He’s no longer the Hoseok I once knew—the one with the radiant smile, the sunshine that used to brighten up any room. His kind, innocent eyes are gone. His softness, his warmth—it’s all been replaced by a cold, distant gaze. Now, he’s just a hardened businessman, the kind you read about in stories, the ones with blank faces and steely eyes.
But I’ve made up my mind. I won’t lose him again. Fate has given me this chance, and I’m not letting go. I’ll do everything I can to convince him, to apologize, and to get back the friend I lost.
Friend? Was he ever really just a friend? Is that all I feel? My heart tells me otherwise, but I can’t afford to think about that right now. No, focus. First, I’ll try to rebuild our friendship—his and Yoongi’s too.
And Di... I’ll find her. No matter what it takes. The regret I carry for what I did to her in my madness weighs on me every day. I know earning their love, trust, and friendship again won’t be easy. But I’m willing to work for it, fight for it. I need to reclaim the happiness I lost, the happiness my ego and recklessness destroyed. From now on, my focus is only on the three of them.
Yoongi despises me, I saw it in his eyes the last time we met. Pure hatred. And when it comes to Di, he didn’t say anything. He probably never will. Convincing Yoongi and Hoseok will be hard enough... but first, I need to find Vedu Di. She’s the key to all of this.
And there’s only one person who can help me.
After two weeks, I stepped out of the car and found myself staring at a familiar mansion. My childhood had mostly unfolded here, and just seeing it again sent a warm flutter through my heart as memories flooded back—of happiness, comfort, and the love that surrounded me. It felt like home. But just as I was lost in nostalgia, a hand on my shoulder brought me back to reality. I turned to meet Veer’s confused and slightly irritated expression.
Veer: "Can you explain?"
With an exasperated sigh, I replied,
Yn: You already know, so why are you even asking?
Veer raised an eyebrow, unimpressed.
Veer: Okay, I get that we’re in South Korea to find them, but why are we standing in front of this old mansion instead of their new one? This place looks... creepy.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the weird face he made, playfully hitting his arm.
Yn: Shut up! This place is really close to my heart.
Veer looked even more confused.
Veer: Was this your house or something?
I shook my head, still smiling as I thought of Yoongi. No, this is Yoongi’s mansion. I used to spend most of my time here.
Veer’s confusion only deepened.
Veer: Then why are we here? And why are you grinning like a fool?
This boy! He always knew how to push my buttons. I hit him again, pretending to be serious.
Yn: Did you forget? I’m your boss, you should respect me!
He rolled his eyes dramatically.
Veer: Oh, come on! I’m not just your assistant, I’m your best friend too! Did YOU forget?
