Vedu’s POV

The night air hit my skin like ice, but I didn’t care. My heart was pounding, my lungs felt tight, and every part of me screamed one name.

Vedu: YOONGI!!!

I saw him—just ahead!!Back turned - Head bowed!!
Still!! He didn’t stop!! Didn’t turn.

Vedu (louder, breathless): Yoongi, please! Wait!

I ran, My sandals scraped against the stones, my breath sharp in my chest! When I finally reached him, I slid in front—blocking his path...

And that’s when I saw it!!

His tears!!

Yoongi…My Yoongi… was crying!!

His shoulders trembled—His jaw clenched!!
His eyes—red and glassy, shimmering in the soft moonlight!!!

Vedu (whispers, stunned): You’re… crying?

Sheer panic flooded my veins! Because Yoongi doesn’t cry—Not like this!!!

Not unless something inside him has shattered completely!!!

I raised a shaky hand to wipe the tears from his cheek—But he stepped back!! Like my touch would burn him!!

And then he said it!

Yoongi (voice cracking): Please… just leave me alone.

The silence that followed was louder than anything I’d ever heard....

Vedu: Yoongi—

Yoongi (sharply): No, Veda. Don’t.

He held up his hand to stop me....His eyes were no longer just pained—they were hurt...Betrayed...

Yoongi (barely holding himself together): Do you think I’m… a toy? Something you can pass around depending on your sister’s feelings? Like some thing you can wrap and unwrap based on guilt or sacrifice?

Vedu (tears in her voice):No! That’s not—Yoongi, it’s not like that—

Yoongi (bitter laugh): Then what is it, huh?First you ignored me....Then you wanted to give me to her...Now, as you get to know YN loves Hobi, so you are thinking I can be with you again?!!

He turned away for a second, hand gripping his hair as if trying to stop himself from exploding....Then turned back....

Yoongi (angrily): I’m not an option, Vedu!! I loved you when you couldn’t remember me....I stayed when you were broken.....I broke myself trying to protect your healing...And even then—what you did? Is pushed me away....

His voice broke—softer now, more cracked....

Yoongi (quietly): And I understood…Because I thought you were hurting...But now I don’t know, I'm confused—Is I was your pain or your burden....

I felt my knees weaken.....I opened my mouth to speak—but nothing came....My chest felt like it was caving in...

Vedu (whispers): You’re neither. You were my… everything!!!

His expression broke a little more—his tears falling freely now...

Yoongi (bitterly): Then why did I feel like nothing to you?

Silence......

Yoongi (voice shaking): You don’t get to break me and fix me whenever you choose....I’m not yours when it’s convenient!!!

I took a step forward...

Vedu: I didn’t mean to—
