As the first light of dawn peeked over the horizon, a hush enveloped Valfonia Town. Cloaked figures hurried through the narrow streets, their footsteps echoing against cobblestone, while shadows blended into the muted palette of early morning. At the outskirts, near the checkpoint that marked the town's boundary, a group of adventurers gathered.
Raphael, the muscular leader of "The Guardians of Vianden," stood tall and vigilant, his brown wavy hair catching the faint morning breeze. He adjusted the sword at his side, surveying his party as they prepared for their journey. Beside him, Nina, his beloved wife, held a small basket where nestled a baby wrapped in soft fabric, the infant blissfully unaware of the impending adventure. The baby, a reincarnation of Arjun Singhania, held within him flickers of memories from a world of glinting skyscrapers and boardrooms—the life of a billionaire businessman, now however, he was merely a child enchanted by magic and new beginnings.
"Mr. Yohan Schiller will be waiting for us at the checkpoint," Raphael said, glancing over his shoulder towards the noble merchant, who stood by a well-furnished carriage. Yohan, a venerable man with elegant white hair, looked the part of a wealthy merchant in his lavish royal suit. Beside him stood his loyal coachman, Fredrick, a young lad with dark brown hair, who was fiddling with the reins, his blue eyes bright with anticipation.
As the sunlight broke over the horizon, casting a golden hue around them, Yohan's gaze shifted to the peaceful scene of Nina with the baby. "Ah, dear Nina! What a precious bundle you have there," he said with a warm smile and a hint of amusement in his voice. "You must ride in the carriage. It wouldn't do for the mother of such a beautiful child to walk beside us."
Nina blushed, her golden hair falling gracefully around her shoulders. "Thank you, Mr. Schiller, but I don't want to impose." However, Yohan waved his hand dismissively.
"It is no imposition! It is the least I can do. Besides," he paused, eyeing the adventuring party with a twinkle in his eye, "you may need your energy for what lies ahead."
With a reluctant smile, Nina accepted Mr. Schiller's offer, gently placing the baby in her arms as she climbed into the carriage. The group exchanged knowing glances; they understood that the journey would be challenging, yet the whimsical nature of the infant somehow lightened their spirits.
"Let's get going," Raphael announced, handing the quest verification document to the guard stationed at the checkpoint. The guard, a stout man with a thick beard, stamped the parchment, allowing them to officially depart from Valfonia. He nodded in respect to the adventurers as they moved past him, their purpose clear and intentions noble.
